FRINGE: John Noble on What Peter’s Appearances are Doing to Walter’s Sanity and More
October 6, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
While FRINGE fans have been delighted to get little glimpses of Peter Bishop in the first two hours of the season, Walter has been growing more and more distraught by what he thinks are mere hallucinations. And given that the Walter in this timeline is considerably less stable than the Walter we knew and loved for three seasons, the prospect of him going even further off the deep end is troubling.
But what did the man behind Walter have to say about it? Warner Bros. took a group of reporters up to Vancouver this week, and when we hit up the FRINGE set, John Noble was kind enough to dish on Walter’s mindset, how Peter pops back up, and why Walter is having trouble believing it all…

Great interview but I wish the sound was a little better…
@Donna- Sorry! Unfortunately, John was speaking quietly, and I didn’t realize how quiet it sounded on camera until later.
Hey marisa, where did the photo come from of the characters? I havent seen it anywhere before
Good interview!
very nice interview.
By the way did you have a chance to talk to Joshua Jackson while you were in Vancouver?
A microphone really helps out, when making an interview… come on 😛
I enjoyed the discussion, I thought you asked some very good questions. The audio was bearable! It’s understandable some opportune situations don’t allow for a great deal of time for technical set up and it’s lucky to get an interview. Again, very enjoyable! Hope to see more from you.
