BONES: Hart Hanson Teases Season 7

October 20, 2011 by

We’re two weeks away from the BONES season premiere. On a scale from 1-10, how excited are you guys?

In case you are in absolute misery, we have a few more teases saved to make the wait a bit easier. (You know, in case you needed to get more amped up after our earlier teases for the first two episodes and our two-part tease for the seventh season!)

While the team was noticeably fractured last season after their seven months apart — and a certain new relationship that complicated things — this year will have them once again working as a cohesive team.

“Last year was the team being pulled apart and we ended with an obvious and powerful reason for the team to pull together again,” explained BONES creator Hart Hanson. “So yes, [they’ll be closer]. The fact is, pregnant Brennan and [eventually] Brennan with a baby means that sometimes other people have to spend some time with Booth, which I think will be good for the series…Everybody will be out in the field more than we are used to seeing them.”

And now that Brennan and Booth have a baby on the way, now would be the perfect time to see some more of their immediate family, right? Unfortunately for viewers, that doesn’t seem to be in the cards for the first six hours back.

“Well, I can’t say yes to Jared yet, because we have all these characters who are [played by] working actors and they’re not available,” Hanson said. “Loren Dean, [who plays] Russ Brennan, has had some availability issues…I think we’ll wait and see  Parker after the baby is born. And Max [will also] be after the baby is born.”

So, apologies if you were hoping to see Parker or Max in the first batch of episodes. At least we’ll have Grandpa Booth and Billy Gibbons back in the first few episodes of the season.

However, the good news is that despite the show relying on time jumps in the past, when I questioned if viewers should expect one after Brennan gives birth, Hanson indicated the show will not go that route.

“Do I want to tell you this?” Hanson questioned. “No, there will not be a time jump after the baby is born. We will continue on. There’s no time jump. We’re going to see it through as a cohesive story from the time we come back in the beginning of the season to the end of the season. There will be no time jumps.”

But that doesn’t mean the lab will be sans Brennan for any sort of traditional maternity leave.

“Do you think Brennan would take maternity leave?” he laughed. “I don’t consider a couple days [away] a time jump…the audience should not feel a time jump [when she comes back to work].”

Looking forward to the episodes airing in 2012, Hanson teased that in addition to the return of the new serial killer, Booth and Brennan will be struggling to figure out the latest shift in their relationship.

“The personal stuff will be how does a couple have a child, work together and deal with each other, while maintaining the fact that we’re a murder show,” Hanson said. “We’re still going to solve a murder each week. So it’s going to be a murder show each week, for that segment of the audience, and we’re going to see how are they going to [balance their relationship]. That’s what the last 7 [or so] episodes of the season will be. How does that work [for them]?”

BONES premieres November 3 at 9 PM on Fox. Will you be tuning in?

I am still super excited about seaon 7. I can deal with some of the family members not making a guest appearance, but I am disappointed we are not going to see Parkers reaction to having a new sister until after she is born. I think that would be neat to see his reaction to his dad’s relationship with Bones and the whole pregnancy thing. Plus, there had better be some lip action. I have gotten used to the idea of no sex scenes between them, but I have(as a fan of the show)waited long enough for some heavy smooching between these two. If they are a couple Hart, make them act like it. However, what I have seen so far with the promos and spoilers posts from people who have seen the first two episodes makes me less worried. I am hoping for an epic sesaon 7 premeire and counting down the days impatiently.

Sorry, should have posted as Angie the second, not Angie.

  3. historynut on October 20th, 2011 11:35 pm

    Bring. It. ON.

The team working together — as a team?!
B/B working on a relationship vs denying they have one or can’t have one?
And murders to solve, hopefully some serious ones, please, cases that matter?

I am in fan heaven. 🙂

Sorry HH but I’ll sit an wait my own judgement on S7 after the debacle of S4’s finale, S5 finale and most of S6’s episodes. I’m hoping for 2 things:

    1. I’m hoping that the storyline pushes through the Moonlighting Curse vice still trying to avoid that. I still have a bad feeling that you still want to keep B&B seperated as long as possible.

    2. I’m hoping that S7 is well planned out vice playing it by ear like you did S6. IMO, you waited for certain episodes to play last season in order to figure out what to do next. You waited for ‘Couple in the Cave’ to see how the audience liked Hannah before extending that arc. You pushed the most important episode of the first half of the season (Brencentric epi) to later in the season where it failed miserably in the ratings and scared the living heck out of you. This caused you to get rid of Hannah ASAP and made the Blizzard episode to see how fans felt about B&B after the debacle of the Hannah arc. Then you threw B&B together in the last two episodes because you saw the audience lose trust in the writing.

With the two things above, I can see the series getting back on track and using the ‘lightening in a bottle’ that is DB/ED put back in like we saw during the first 3 seasons.

  5. Osteon on October 21st, 2011 8:29 am

Thank you for the article, Marisa! I understand that recurring guest spots are always subject to actors’ availability, so I’m fine with having Max and Pops in the first half of the season.

Drip, on your second point. Conjectures! Dr. Brennan will be disappointed. I do know that all shows, including Bones, have overview on how their season will play out at the onset of the season, and all these shows always have contingencies. Hart Hanson has always stated that the show is organic — things happen that could change some aspects of the show/story as they go along the season. So I don’t know how, him waiting “for certain episodes to play last season in order to figure out what to do next,” is not consistent with the nature of a dynamic TV industry. Also, remember that each episode is approved by the network before it gets aired, so showrunners, such as HH, while they always want to tell their stories and wish that they play out according to how they envisioned them, also need to contend with what the network demands. So yes, a lot of factors change the course of the series.

Doctor in the Photo is my favorite episode last season. It may be the lowest-rated episode of Season 6, but it did not fail miserably, as you put it. Remember that most of the East Coast had reception/signal problems and did not get to watch the episode live. For sure, that affected the rating the episode got. So before you conclude that the show failed miserably, compare it with the ratings of the other shows in the same time slot for the same period. From what I can remember, around that time, most shows had decline in their ratings/viewers, which is normal since it aired in December. If you follow ratings website, it is expected of and normal for TV shows to experience decline in ratings/viewers every December/Christmas season. So it was not just Bones, it was not because the DitP was pushed back.

  6. Osteon on October 21st, 2011 8:43 am

*I should have posted “Billy Gibbons and Pops”, not “Max and Pops.”

  7. El on October 21st, 2011 10:16 am

DITP was such an important episode for them. Why did they wait until December to play it when they know ratings would be low? It was such an important episode to showcase ED, one of the main stars of the show. I think they should have planned better and had this episode during Sweeps or delayed it to give it more attention than December airing.

As far as the rest of the article, I really hope this whole season is not about the pregnancy. This was like Hogela last season. I was kind of hoping there was a time jump after the baby is born. I would like to see them acknowledge Brennan as a mother rather than just having her rush back to work days after the baby is born. (I know it is probably not days but from HH’s response, it seems like a small window of time) I just think that sometimes they portray Brennan as too driven.

We have missed out on so much of their relationship. I just hope that they make up for it somehow by having some of the family back.

I was excited about the season, but somehow this article has put a downer on things for me personally.

  8. lorrainepace on October 21st, 2011 1:23 pm

I would like to see Bones continue forever I am 75 and I have never been so addicted to a TV show. I am sure the writers can keep DB&ED solving murders & bringing up baby. They

  9. Jasper on October 21st, 2011 11:34 pm

Well, HH does it again. We need to stop hoping that the glitch called ‘season six’ will be fixed with season seven. And this has to be said; HH and SN and even DB and ED put the Moonlighting hex/worry on this show. They started with that talk in season one and it is now biting them in the ass. Don’t believe it? Get on youtube and watch the uncountable interviews with all the above stating that putting B&B in a relationship would be the end of the show. ED threw a curve ball to all with the pregnancy and they knee jerked the last 1/2 of the season.

DiTP was showN IN THE WRONG MONTH. Any moron knows that December is a low rating period. Now I don’t think that season six was a bomb in the ratings department, not at all, but…………………coupled with the fan backlash from May forward, it was a disaster to the original fanbase. They wanted to give up, and when six years of loyalty paid of with a hug and grin the next day, it was devasting.

HH and SN are either afraid of letting adults write the scripts or they are ready to shut this series down and move on to new and fresh stuff. The only way to defeat the HUGE MOONLIGHTING KISS OF DEATH through process that they have play into, is to write their way out of it. Before anyone says that they have seen the promos for season seven and they have done it, they have written masterpieces- stop and breath and think about it. We have Booth and Brennan in a slapstick comedy now, a laugh a minute, a doggie style moment to give all the teenagers something to put into their fanfiction crap in November and December.

Thinking this through as a Bones fan would, not a hormonal teeny bopper, I would have to say this: Nice try HH, nice try. The overlooking, or oversight (now out in a spoiler about Booth plain not being invited or told about the sonagram) of certain major events that would give the true Bones fans the warm and fuzzy about B&B is just too much. What the heck is the matter with you HH, SN, the holy mother powers that be where ever they think they are for this show, and even ED and DB ?????????? Do you think that jumping to the part where Bones is rasing a child really satisfys the true Bones fan?
My God, you people are either idiots or just don’t really care.

    No Scenes for:
    first dates
    telling family about the pregnancy
    telling friends about the pregnancy
    first kisses(as a couple)
    first arguments
How did Bones find out she was pregnant
    When did she tell Ange
Bones angst about what the *&^%$(* to do now that she is pregnant
Booth wondering whether to play hockey or go home to pregnant partner
Is she his partner or is she his girl, girlfriend, lover, play toy, partner as usual
Telling Max, Jared, Parker about the baby(the fact nobody was told to be available for re-occurring roles is a HUGE tell tale sign for many things.)

OMG………………….there is not enough paper in the internet to cover the missed opportunities to get these two to a couple stage, even with a pregnant Brennan…………and it was all stuff that a 43 minute episode could have been centered around, several seasons more.

Instead we get six episodes of 43 minutes of crimes solving splashed with some over the top acting by the leads because a team of script writers shudder at the thought of “putting these two together”. Break them up HH, go ahead, keep Booth from his kid and Brennan inept at social situations and using idiotic reversals and mis-statments about common phrases……… that will be about as believable as Booth banging Brennan the night she questions a God that would allow good people to die. Booth would liken that to banging her in a church pew, and this is your writing HH, your approved character development for Booth.
    Really?
If you ended season six with Buck and Wanda bowling……….
what crap you you have in mind for a season seven finale?
    Really.

  10. Eva on October 22nd, 2011 5:10 am

    JASPER

You are right 100% correct….. The show has become a shadow of its former self.
It has become a comedy soap opera.
My guess… this is the last season and the writers will be putting all the pieces
in place for a last episode. Maybe having Booth/Brennan marry as was done
with Magnum PI several years ago.

  11. Angie the second on October 22nd, 2011 6:59 am

To Jasper- I think you made some valid points. Skipping the first stages of Booth and Brennans pregnancy/relationship was not only wrong, but a kick in the stomach to the fans. Also, the debacle that is the start of season 6 threw me for a loop. Why in the world would they give Booth a girlfriend? THey hinted about a beginning relationship between B and B on the last episode of seaon 5 only to have Booth bring back a girlfriend from Afghanistan. Not to happy about that. Back to the ‘relationship’ of B and B in season 7, we fans did not get to see those things and we have been waiting for these two to get together. Those were some missed opportunites to establish the dynamics of their relationship in the very beginning instead of just throwing their relationship in our faces. It’s like HH and SN are saying to the fans you wanted them together so there you go, but we are not going to show anything else. However, I respectfully disagree with what you said about this being the final season. We don’t know if this will be the final season. They are still talking about doing an extra four episodes outside of season 7(in the summer, i think) and this may lead into a season 8. I dislike that HH and SN didn’t think about the fandom when writing scripts for dealing with B and B getting together, but we don’t know what they were thinking about when they did. THey may have perfectly good reasons to go that direction with the show. It would be a let down if I find out they are not really a couple and ‘just’ having a baby together. Actually,I would be more than let down, I would madder than a wet hornet. I think we need to reserve our judgements until after the first eps are shown. Again, I am not being disrespectful to what your saying or what your saying is unfounded, but let us see what happens before you make judgements about it. If I watch the show and see the things you think might happen, then I will agree with 100%.

  12. Jillian on October 22nd, 2011 1:21 pm

I actually wouldn’t want them to show everything in the beginning of B&B’s relationship-first kiss, first date, first argument (although I would have liked to see the team’s reaction to the pregnancy and their relationship) I just can’t see B&B like that. They have known each other for 6 years. They already know everything about each other. That’s what dating is for. I would get bored. I feel like that’s what I have been watching for the last 6 years. I’m perfectly happy where B&B are right now, 6 months into their relationship, just as long as they actually show them in a romantic relationship, dealing with their issues and working on their relationship (which judging by the reviews we are definitely going to see them together:)) Also…I absolutely see no signs of this being the last season of Bones. Fox ordered 4 more episodes that are NOT apart of season 7. Fox WANTS Bones to air. It’s not up to HH&Co. I doubt the only reason why Bones would end would be because HH&Co. are just bored with it. Hart has said he sees Bones going for 8 seasons. He’s going to stay with Bones just as long as he knows that it’s still profitable and that people will watch it.

  13. Jasper on October 22nd, 2011 2:56 pm

    ANGIE-

I feel that Hannah was written in to give the relationship angle more angst, but did it really need it? Brennan ran from Booth…..AGAIN, and this time for seven months with NO contact. Booth needed to move on, and by this point in the “dance” between these two and the 100 episode with the epic “I can’t change” crap with Brennan, fans were not just rolling their eyes their heart was not in it anymore. Hannah was most certainly a plot device, but I could have cared less by then and hoped that Booth would be plain old happy with her. I felt the series needed to be wrapped up in season six. Felt it even more stronger when you have high paid executive producers like HH and SN that can’t even make a decision whether to write in ED’s pregnancy (their words not mine) and then when they did decide it was just mish-mash hurried crap.

You are very accurate with the “kick in the stomach” description for the fans, the original fans of this show has put up with alot- time slot changes, a writer strike, years of baseball playoffs or series play, and the pay off was dismal. I saw more relationship action with Cam and Booth then B&B. What on earth happened to the Brennan that lowered her voice and looked and Booth over a shot of tequila and said …”If we’re not working together we can have sex?” If you are a true Bones fan you will not make a fifth grader remark about a sex scene, no one is asking for Bones porn, even SN can’t get that through his head. The character was sultry, fun, independent but written smart, and she was the match for Booth, he knew it. And yes the FANS knew it.

    JILLIAN
Now………………..through the grace of spoilers, we know that Brennan “overlooks” inviting Booth to the Doctors appointment that reveals the baby’s sex. That means he will most like find out when Sweets spills it in an interview- yet another spoiler.
IMO here, if they have been ghost dating as you suggest here for six years then how the (*&$%#! did she forget to have him come with her for THAT???? I have thought about your post and just can’t get on board with the whole, they have been a couple for six years already. If they had been, Brennan would have never, never, crushed Booth like that.

Who was that Brennan in the car with Booth in DITP????? Who was that woman???? Not one that would overlook taking Booth, the father of her baby to a Dr. appt.

It is the inconsistencies that is killing this show, it hands down, the writing and most of season six was a landslide of horrible character assassination. Granted, and I agree, DITP was spot on for what Brennan would have realized, but it was too late for me, I wanted Booth to say exactly what he did to her. He told her to move on, because he had. I am not the only fan that feels this way, there is a good article through this website (givememy remote) that has some fantastic airing out of long time fans frustration and “I give up” notices. The backlash from season six was easily 80-90 percent disgust. Not at the pregnancy story arc, but about how they got there and wasted an entire season to do it.

It boils down to the show’s producers now understanding that the fan base can be crapped on and get sub-quality (this means not true to character) episodes and we eat it up. I for one will voice my opinion on it and I am glad Angie that you and others are too. I am not willing to belly up to the Bones buffet and eat crap anymore, too much other good TV on. I feel, and this is my opinion, that those six episodes will probably break this show- good writing would make it plainly. Yes it will make the teenagers squeal, but it is not where the heart of the original fanbase lies. FOX has fired warning shots, I know fans are not very willing to see that, but FOX threw HH and SN into a loop with asking for four “out of season episodes”. (SN is quoted as saying “thus us highly unusual) I smell a wrap up coming.

I find that many true Bones fans that are not 10-15 years old or so……….realized the writing on the wall. It is not pleasant, I for one am not happy about the shortened time frame for the writers of this show to “pull their heads out of their ass, and get B&B together with the original character traits. Explain a few things- like the reasons for why they are the way they are, there is abuse on both sides that has been endured. For God’s sake, a writer worth their damn salary can make this relationship work if they explore that angle alone. Remember the night they invite Sweets to dinner at Booth’s apt. and Gordon-Gordon was cooking. Remember the short, but gut wrenching admissions by both B&B- her tucking his handkerchief back in his jacket pocket as if to say she knew his heart had been hurt too????

    And finally
Angie, Jillian, El, Ostean and Drippan, and all the others- I feel no one here is dis-respectful of each other’s opinion, (thanks for your kind words Angie) and in the long run we all would like to see several more seasons of Bones on TV. Everyone here obviously loves this show. But a huge portion of the fanbase can see the horrific mistakes made in season six, and feel cheated. I seriously doubt that episodes that run concurrently for six weeks around the holidays will be the magic bullet for this show. That means we will have a Bones episode run on Thanksgiving night and then into December, notorious for dips in ratings. It was a poor choice of timing for this show to return with such a huge need to make a rushed story arc from last season work.

  14. Laura B on October 22nd, 2011 3:47 pm

    Jasper

You said it all….as if you read my mind. Bones has become a show for
    teenagers not adults.
Brennan is no longer the sassy scientist. She has become a female version
    of Mr. Spock.
From what I read the comedy will be a primary focus of Bones…. just
watch the clips and reviews for season 7. Now the show is concerned about
relationships between the co workers and babies with the old jokes about
the overwhelmed father to be and pregnant wife/girl friend.

  15. El on October 22nd, 2011 3:53 pm

I have to say that I personally feel that the show is targeted to a much younger audience now and the totally “shipper” audience for this season. Since the 100th episode, the shipper in me stopped caring. Fine if they are together, but I now care more about the cases, like they had in earlier seasons. Last season had one case that I truly enjoyed and it was the deaf/mute episode at the end of the season. The first sniper episode was pretty good, but I really think the rest of the episodes became more “soap” From peoples comments, it seems like because B & B are together, all is right with the world. I think HH knew that when planning this season and really feels like he does not have to explain anything about last season. I just can’t understand last season as it played out on screen so I can’t jump for joy just because they are together. I want more. They are saying the show will be balance but the promos and all of the articles seem to mainly focus on B & B.
I just really don’t want a full season of pregnant Brennan after having Anglela pregnant all of last season. This was once my favorite show above all others and now it is about 7 or 8 on my list. I was one of the original fans, not very vocal until this season, but still had been very dedicated to the show. Yes, the producers don’t owe me anything and it is their show to write. But it is now a show that I can wait to air on TNT to watch or catch up to later. I just have lost the real “love” for the show. I really enjoy ED and with the Brennan lite episodes (understandably due to her real life pregnancy) I just can’t get overjoyed with the rest of the show. Unfortunately, Season 6 not only decreased my interest in B & B, but it also lessened by my love for the other characters as well.

I hope others still enjoy the show. I just wish I had not watched Season 6. I think I would feel differently had I just skipped it. For me personally, it has lost its shine.

  16. maggiemay on October 23rd, 2011 9:39 am

In other words Hart, you’re getting on our nerves the way you’re handling the show and the fans. Do you really expect us to believe Bones and Booth’s baby is a result of a science experiment in a petri dish in Bone’s lab?? Because if that’s not what you want us to believe you have failed. Sex and relationships are messy, and as far as Booth and Bones are you have shown us nothing more than a couple of adult people that we know truly care about each other but are compartmentalizing their feels because you and the other writers are SCARED of the “Moonlighting” curse. Pull on your big boy pants and prove “them” wrong. Bone’s fans will STILL BE THERE.

  17. Angie the second on October 23rd, 2011 10:32 am

Jasper- I completely understand what your’re saying. ; ) Bones was one of the most successful series on t.v. As with any fandom, you can push us to far when it comes our fave characters and how the story is written on each episode. You mess with our beloved characters, we get unhappy. Also, did anybody else(besides me) notice that the connection between Bones and Booth during seasons 1 through 5 was lost as soon as season 6 started? I am not talking about the sexual tension either. For me, it was more than that. They developed such a close bond during those first 5 years and you could see and feel it when B/B were around one another. That is why I think I did not like them bringing in Hannah. I think that is why the writers didn’t show that connection between B/B because of her. They showed more of a closeness with Hannah and Bones then they did with Booth and Bones. Case in point, “The Doctor In The Photo” episode. I really liked that episode, but when she is going though all that turmoil, who is helping her through it, the security guard not Booth. When she is bawling in the car, he asks her if there is someone he can call to stay with her. If that had been the old Booth, he would have been there for her. Girlfriend or not!! They did get that connection back towards the last couple of episodes, but by then it was to late. Overall, I still say that season 6 was the worst out of all the seasons with exceptions to “The Hole In The Heart” and “Change In The Game.”

  18. Adrian on October 24th, 2011 2:36 am

Wow, you people are ridiculous. Listen to yourselves. Have a little faith.

HH and SN did not hold a gun to your heads and force you to watch this show so I have no idea why everyone feels like they deserve to have the show written how they want it.

Enjoy the damn show. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. The only reason I am saying this is because you are all bitching about episodes that haven’t even aired.

And you consider yourself fans. HA!

  19. Eva on October 24th, 2011 10:39 am

    Adrian

I feel you are missing the point regarding the development of Bones. The
show is no longer written for adults. But rather teenagers or early 20’s.
The acting is now more slap stick comedy than just a comedy/drama
    police show.
Even the acting is not what is was during the early sessions.
People can and should express opinions since the show is made for the
    viewers.
For myself I am disappointed in how the show is just another soap opera and
rather boring. I hope the writers can save Bones… despite good ratings
the issue is top keep the viewers is certain age groups.
I feel that more creative engery is now being directed on The Finder at the
cost of Bones. This may very well the last season with the four extra episodes
ordered by FOX to end the show in a high note. Let’s face it 7 years is
a long time for a show no matter how good.

  20. AJ on October 24th, 2011 12:29 pm

How about some Bones fans of old, giving you some lessons Adrian in what is ridiculous. Lets start with the meaning of the word: ridicule: Words or actions intended to make one laugh scornfully at a person, object or thing.
Sounds like a good description of the Bones series as of late.

Or look at it like this:
1 Giving die hard fans a grin between Ange and Brennan as the B&B hook up moment? Ridiculous
2 Giving the die hard fans a smooch on the cheek in a bowling alley a clue to a B&B hook up? Ridiculous
3 Giving the die hard fans who have bought into the HH ans SN image of Booth after six seasons, the impression that he had sex with his grievin partner during a moment of more religious exploration on her part? Something that this viewer wonders why they have spent so much time on season after season.
Totally Ridiculous and in the true Bones universe absolutely non-believable.

Here is a better one, sending this one to HH and SN with love from a fan from day one, the meaning of the word insanity; to keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome.

Re-read the posts and understand that these are or were(?) true Bones fans who have stuck it out through good and bad writing on this show. While the six episodes for S7 have not aired the commercials are absolutely attempting to appease the shippers, but totally missing the mark in doing so. Ok, I will not take a hard stance that some comedic levity is going to be needed in S7, but the whole pregnancy issue is being handled wrong. When a series runs this long and the characters come unglued in the writers room then you get what is happening on the internet blog sites to this show.

I didn’t mean handled wrong in the above paragraph, I mean not being explored as a story arc, it is a total side story, IF that. The fanbase put up with the Hodgela pregnancy in detail last season. I will be one fan that admits that might have been some of the saving grace for this viewer because the B&B relationship possibility totaly lost it’s sizzle factor in S6. More 38-40 minutes of boring crime cases and 3-6 minutes of B&B scenes amount to S1 through S6. What people are saying here is that if the 3-6, and let’s give the benefit of the doubt here and say 5-8 minutes of the show’s air time is now going to be dedicated to slap stick B&B moments then…………….we have the definition of insanity.

I will close with this remark; No one HAS to watch this show. No one.
HH may think and you Adrian may think that you can arrogantly state to fans “just stop watching the show then,” but there is one thing Bones needs and that is median age viewers that have jobs and has spending captial. FOX could give a crap less about the ratings, it cares about how much money the advertisment slots sell for during the 60 minute slot. And if crappy advertisors is all they can sell to, then this show is gone. Last time I checked my 12 year old niece won’t be buying a Toyota vechicle anytime soon.

I will have the show in my DVR line up- I will watch it when I can, but the Bone’s allure of making my Thursday night in this instance is gone.

Nice article Marisa. I’m looking forward season 7!

But I really don’t understand why some people still spend time to read articles and talk about a show they seem not to find good anymore. When I don’t like a show anymore, I sure don’t spend time on the internet reading and talking about it!

I must watch at least 15-20 hours per week of Bones. It is by far my favorite show and I think the only show on at the present time with the very best ensemble cast. The story lines are inventive if not educational and the ovwerall development of the characters is second to none. If I were to only have one slight criticism, it would be the constant reminder, by Cam, to the staff that she is the boss. I think this makes her character very unlikeable and has no part in the plotline whatsoever. I think that there are far better actors working these days than Tamara Taylor and I sincerely think she brings nothing to this excellent ensemble cast. HH- keep up the good work and lets hope Bones stays on for a very long time.

Wow, I really don’t understand why people waste time writing these long, detailed posts about a show they obviously hate so much. You’re all free to do that, by all means, I just don’t understand why you’d bother. The saddest thing is that you haven’t seen a single episode of S7, unlike the press (who LOVED it, even the non-shipper members of the press) and you’ve already decided it’s the worst season ever.

JASPER: Your “spoiler” about Booth finding put the baby’s sex from Sweets during an interrogation is wrong. He finds out the sex within the first 5 minutes of the episode, which means it won’t happen during the interrogation you’re talking about, as it takes place much later in the episode. You just read the sides and decided to jump to conclusions.

As for B&B being the focus of the show; that’s been the truth for YEARS, it’s nothing new. Come on, let’s face it, the cases haven’t been all that compelling since S2.

I’m looking forward to this season, and I think it’s GREAT they decided to end the will they/won’t they plot, it had been dragged out enough.

since there have been no episodes of Bones this season, why bother? the story line is not good, there have been no episodes involving focus on other cast members which could have filled in all the weeks when there has been no show. I am one fan who is gone.
