About Last Night…THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, THE SECRET CIRCLE and More
October 21, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Ever have one of those nights where you meticulously plan out what you’re going to watch and when you’re going to watch it…only to end up barely making a dent?
Yeah. Welcome to my Thursday night. Whoops?
The only show I ended up watching live was THE BIG BANG THEORY. Thankfully, the episode was great, and Laurie Metcalf (Mrs. Cooper) was a delight. Sheldon always has a childish element about him, but if you make him think that his mommy is more interested in his friends versus him, we experienced a whole new level to his immaturity. While on many other characters it might have seemed annoying, Jim Parsons (Sheldon) was quite excellent. And we got to hear “Soft Kitty”!
Because I only got the chance to watch TBBT, I’m going to need you guys to share your thoughts on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, THE SECRET CIRCLE, GREY’S ANATOMY, PERSON OF INTEREST and everything else that was on TV last night. What stood out? What wasn’t so great?
Let me know!

TVD was CRAZY as usual! It seems like in the last moments of every episode I gasp or yell at my TV!
So when is NBC going to cancel Whitney? It’s really ruining the Thursday night line-up. They should put Up All Night in it’s place and send Whitney far far away!
The Secret Circle was a great episode last night as well. It slowed things down a bit from the previous two episodes, but gave us a lot more back story with our characters, and opened the show for a lot more possibilities. In my opinion, Nick’s death was the show’s turning point, and Jake was the show’s chance to really push forward. It was goood! Same with The Vampire Diaries like always!
Oh, I forgot to add it gave us more back story with the characters AND mythology.
Person of Interest was good, and I liked the Project Runway-pre-finale or finale part one, or whatever. It was sort of predictable, when it came down to it, but I’m not upset by the results, so…win 🙂
