GLEE: Chord Overstreet Returns!
October 24, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
When news first broke that GLEE star Chord Overstreet (Sam) wouldn’t be regularly appearing this season, there were rumors he could pop up as a guest star. Now, Fox has announced in a press release that Overstreet will return to the show for a multi-episode arc, which will kick off in December.
“We love Chord and have always said that we wanted him back,” GLEE co-creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement. “So here’s an early Christmas present for all the Gleeks — Sam is coming back to McKinley, and just in time for sectionals!”
“I had the best time on GLEE and couldn’t be more excited to be returning,” Overstreet added.
Are you excited Overstreet is returning? What do you hope Sam will be up to?

I can’t quite decide whether I care or not at the moment.
In one way, I’m kind of over it. But in the other, maybe he can come back and we can get rid of Mercedes new boyfriend. He brings out the worst in her, and he NEEDS to be gone. And I was intrigued by the Sam/Merc pairing, so it’d be nice to see it.
Unless, in true Glee style, they make no reference to it ever having happened. I wouldn’t put anything past Ryan Murphy and co!
