Fresh off last night’s twisty episode of RINGER, The CW has granted the freshman series a full first season.
While a slew of new comedies have been picked up, this marks the first drama to receive their “back nine” order.
Are you excited Sarah Michelle Gellar will remain on your TV for at least an additional nine episodes?

In one of the best casting moves of the season, Megan Mullally joins HAPPY ENDINGS tonight as Dana, Penny’s mother. (The resemblance between Mullally and Casey Wilson is amazing isn’t it?!)
When I caught up with Wilson at the recent Paley Center, she teased what fans can expect from the Penny-Dana dynamic…

After keeping fans on their toes for several weeks post-finale (not cool guys…not cool at all), Syfy has finally renewed HAVEN for a third season, Variety is reporting.
I’m going to take one second and speak on behalf of HAVEN fans everywhere: it’s about freakin’ time, Syfy.
The only (expected) bad news? Fans will have to wait until 2012 for the next batch of 13 episodes.
Anyone else in a celebratory mood?! We get more HAVEN!

When did Tuesday become such an easy night? I’m sure when the Fox shows end up back in the mix, I’ll be eating my words, but for this week, things were relatively calm for the latest installment of About Last Night.
In case you missed our revival of ALN, basically, I’ll share my thoughts about what went down on the TV shows I watched the previous night and then open the floor for you guys to have your say in the comments. Hopefully, we’ll be watching some similar shows and we can debate/gush/rant/continue the conversation.
Sound good? Let’s talk Tuesday night TV!

[Warning: if you haven’t seen the “A Whole New Kind of Bitch” episode of RINGER turn away now. The following post includes spoilers on a key element of the hour and you won’t want to have it ruined.]
After Bridget finally revealed to Gemma in last week’s episode that Siobhan had died and B had taken over her life, things were bound to blow up in tonight’s episode. And boy did they ever.

At the end of the last episode of RINGER, Bridget finally told Gemma that she was impersonating Siobhan. But where does the series go now?
“Just because the secret’s out to one person, doesn’t mean it’s out to the collective,” series co-creator Eric Charmelo teased to reporters earlier this week. “The drive in the episode is to try and contain the oil spill, if you will. Will Gemma be a friend or a foe? Will she be an ally or an adversary?”
Intrigued? Take a look at the promo for the hour and then make sure to come back to Give Me My Remote after the episode airs for more on what’s to come straight from the RINGER executive producers, plus Rachel’s recap!

BONES Season 7 Cast Photos

With a little over three weeks until BONES premieres, it’s now time for fun things to come out — like new cast photos! Well, they’re mostly new.
As you can see from the cast shot below — which features series stars Emily Deschanel (Brennan), David Boreanaz (Booth), Michaela Conlin (Angela), TJ Thyne (Hodgins), Tamara Taylor (Cam) and John Francis Daley (Sweets) — Fox clearly reused the Boreanaz/Deschanel promo shot from season 6 and photoshopped the rest of the cast around them. But, still, it’s semi-new, and the shots of the supporting cast are all new pictures.

Given how much good TV is on every night, sometimes a girl just wants to talk about what she watched in more than 140 characters. (Sorry, Twitter!) So in honor of that, we’re bringing back one of my favorite former features of Give Me My Remote, About Last Night.
What will we be doing for About Last Night? Basically, I’ll share my thoughts about what went down on the TV shows I watched the previous night and then open the floor for you guys to have your say in the comments.
