Report: CBS Orders 3 Additional Episodes of A GIFTED MAN

November 14, 2011 by

While it’s not a full season pickup, this is certainly better than the alternative — Deadline is reporting that CBS has ordered three additional episodes of the Patrick Wilson-led A GIFTED MAN. Assuming no more episodes are ordered at a later point, that would give the freshman series a 16 hour first season.

Are any of you guys still watching this show? I’ve mentioned it before, but A GIFTED MAN was one of the shows I was surprised to enjoy so much and I find myself consistently drawn in each week. I don’t really understand why it’s not doing better in the ratings (aside from the whole Friday night thing), but I’m curious to see how many of you have stuck around.

So tell me…are you watching A GIFTED MAN? And are you happy it’s getting at least three more episodes?

My sister and I have both been enjoying this show. Like you said not awesome but I want to watch every week. I have been really bummed knowing it’s getting a lot of viewers but doing terrible in the demo. If it does get extra episodes I’ll happily enjoy them!

I am absolutely thrilled!!! This will help give the show more time to get its bearing, and more time for the fans to get the word out. Fantastic show already, so thank you CBS for keeping things going!!

I’m very happy that 3 more episodes have been added. The show is first rate and Patrick Wilson leads an outstanding cast. Why the low ratings? CBS is being short sighted in not giving a quality drama a chance to gain momentum. They should not waste the exceptional talent they currently have under contract with Patrick Wilson.

I always watch this show ON DEMAND. It’s actually such a warm-hearted show. I hope they give it a full season and then renew.
