LOST may have ended last year, but a few Sunday night shows sure seemed to be paying homage to the late, great ABC series with their own episodes last night. (And yes, I’m referring to more than the obvious ONCE UPON A TIME parallels.)
Let’s talk Sunday night TV…

LEVERAGE is back!
After a nearly three month “break” between the season, Nate, Sophie and the whole gang is back to their old tricks for eight more episodes of hijinks. (Trust me when I say the show hasn’t missed a beat. The first two episodes are excellent.)
To celebrate the occasion, I chatted with LEVERAGE executive producer Dean Devlin about what fans can expect from the season 4.5 premiere…

After a week off due to the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS, ONCE UPON A TIME is back on ABC this Sunday with a brand new episode — and this time, we’ll be learning more about the mysterious Archie/Jiminy Cricket.
To try and get more insight into the hour, I got on the phone with OUAT star Raphael Sbarge (Archie/Jiminy), who was quick to praise the writing he’s received on the series so far.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Recap: ‘Rubber Man’

Comments Off on AMERICAN HORROR STORY Recap: ‘Rubber Man’
AMERICAN HORROR STORY isn’t like every other show on television. How do we know that? Not because a key plot point is that a ghost in a rubber gimp suit had sex with a main character, and is now in love/sleeping with that character’s daughter. Not because, on an even simpler level, a key plot point is a rubber gimp suit. No – AHS is unlike every other TV show because it aired a new episode the night before Thanksgiving that had nothing to do with the holiday!
The SUBURGATORY Cast Previews Their Thanksgiving Episode

It’s time for Thanksgiving in the suburbs — and yes, the situation is as crazy as you might expect on ABC’s SUBURGATORY. (I may have teared up from laughing so hard at one part of tonight’s brand new episode.)
I sat down with SUBURGATORY stars Jeremy Sisto (George), Jane Levy (Tessa), Cheryl Hines (Dallas), Carly Chaikin (Dalia), Alan Tudyk (Noah), Ana Gasteyer (Sheila), Chris Parnell (Fred), and Allie Grant (Lisa) to see what they could tease about the twisted holiday shenanigans. (Hint: there are costumes!)

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to reunite with old friends and that’s exactly what the Dunphys will be doing in tonight’s brand new episode of MODERN FAMILY, “Punkin Chunkin” — Josh Gad’s Kenneth, an old family friend, returns to the neighborhood for the holidays and make quite the impression on Phil and Claire.
For Gad (who spends his nights in New York as part of the cast of Broadway’s THE BOOK OF MORMON), the opportunity to appear on the show wasn’t just about guest starring on a successful comedy series: it also gave him the chance to reunite with his BACK TO YOU costar Ty Burrell (Phil) and former bosses Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd (who created both MODERN FAMILY and BACK TO YOU).
Keep reading for what Gad told me about filming the guest spot, reuniting with his former coworkers and if he’d be game to come back…
ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE Will Not Continue Online

Well, this sucks.
More than four months after Prospect Park announced they would bring ONE LIFE TO LIVE and ALL MY CHILDREN online after they aired their ABC finales, the company announced today they won’t be moving forward with their plans and both soaps are effectively done. (ONE LIFE TO LIVE will continue to air until mid-January on ABC.)
Keep reading for an official statement and a little bit of ranting from me. (Sorry.)

With THE X FACTOR on Tuesday, was I the only one who had their entire night thrown off thanks to the two-hour live show? It makes no sense, since I generally watch all of Fox’s programming Tuesday night, anyway, but those X FACTOR performance shows seem to take up the entire night.
But there was more than singing on television last night, so let’s talk about what went down…
