Can we blame the delay of this post on Peter’s return impacting the space-time continuum? (Okay, that was a terrible joke. I apologize for that, too.)
It may be a little bit delayed (darn you dead laptop!), but I do have a few burning FRINGE questions answered for you guys, courtesy of executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman…
NBC Shuts Down Production on PRIME SUSPECT
November 15, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under Prime Suspect, TV News
When NBC left PRIME SUSPECT off their midseason schedule yesterday, there was no word on whether that meant the show was gone for good or just gone for a bit. But now, it appears, the series has ended its run.
Deadline is reporting that production will conclude on the freshman series after its initial 13 episode run. While technically the show is not canceled yet, it certainly doesn’t look good for the future of PRIME SUSPECT.
Are you disappointed more people didn’t tune in for PRIME SUSPECT?

It’s Thanksgiving time on RAISING HOPE and that can only mean one thing — more crazy family is added to the mix!
To get the dish on what’s going down in tonight’s brand new episode, I hit up the set of RAISING HOPE to see what Garret Dillahunt (Burt) and Martha Plimpton (Virginia) could share about the arrival of Burt’s mom (played by Shirley Jones) and Burt’s dad (played by Lee Majors)…

Comments Off on NEW GIRL Preview: ‘Thanksgiving’ Brings the Addition of Justin Long
There’s a brand new episode of NEW GIRL on tonight — and it features the introduction of a brand new face. Justin Long begins his arc on NEW GIRL tonight as Paul, a music teacher who is also a love interest for Jess (Zooey Deschanel).
Jess invites Paul over for Thanksgiving dinner, but things don’t go exactly as planned (at least it doesn’t involve nudity this time…we think).
How will the romantically challenged Jess handle having Paul over for Thanksgiving? Check out the teaser below…
About Last Night…HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, GOSSIP GIRL, HART OF DIXIE and More

I’m going to be completely honest — Monday TV turned me into a teary mess. Between HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and 20/20, I kept getting way too emotional about what was on my television screen. (Yes, tears for entirely different reasons. But sometimes you can’t help what makes you emotional!)
So let’s talk about last night’s television…

Lots more to pick from, so read on for your choices!
Glee | 8pm on Fox
“Mash Off”
Sue starts a smear campaign to take down her biggest competitor for the Congressional seat. Meanwhile, Puck has a crush, and Will and Shelby Corcoran encourage some friendly competition.
Last Man Standing | 8pm on ABC
“Home Security”
When a neighbor’s home gets broken into, Mike thinks his fists and a cabinet full of rifles are enough to keep a home intruder at bay. But Vanessa thinks otherwise and rallies the neighbors to start a Neighborhood Watch program. While Mike patrols the block, he gets wrapped up in some neighborhood gossip which gets him into hot water.
The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“Episode 1209”
The competition heats up as host Alison Sweeney tells the remaining seven players that they will be competing in a pentathlon – and they can only rely on themselves because this week, the game goes to singles. Contestants will earn points in each of the five events, which will test everything from speed to strength to nutrition knowledge. The pentathlon winner gets the coveted prize of immunity, while the loser gets a weigh-in disadvantage. The players get a very special surprise when eight-time Olympic medalist Apolo Ohno arrives to lead the contestants through their final event, motivating them each step of the way. Also, one of the trainers reveals details about their difficult childhood to a contestant who is struggling with trust issues. And later, the weigh-in is followed by the most emotional elimination of the season so far.
NCIS | 8pm on CBS
“Engaged, Part 2”
As the NCIS team continues its search for a missing Marine, Gibbs and Ziva travel to her last known whereabouts in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Tony reveals his deepest fears and Gibbs is forced to relive events from his past.

Silver’s video of Teddy’s Vegas wedding is leaked to the press, and has damaging effects on his uncle’s campaign. Liam’s modeling career is taken to the next level by Shelia and Annie is determined to help Dixon, even though the help he needs comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Ivy and Raj decide to plan for the future.
Man Up! | 8:30pm on ABC
“Acceptance”
As a rite of passage, Will decides to buy his son, Nathan, a cell phone, which in turn gives Brenda the idea to also purchase one for Grant to upgrade his old brick phone. Kenny is nervous about meeting his new girlfriend Jane’s parents, and as expected, when he finds out her parents are lesbians and also therapists, the situation goes from bad to worse. Her parents also own a coffee shop and end up giving Craig a music gig there, only to see the nice gesture backfire when he gets the wrong idea about the coffeehouse manager. Meanwhile, Theresa installs a tracking device on Will’s cell phone, which he fears will lead to her finding out about the secret Dad’s club he sometimes attends after work.

Report: CBS Orders 3 Additional Episodes of A GIFTED MAN
November 14, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under A Gifted Man, TV News
While it’s not a full season pickup, this is certainly better than the alternative — Deadline is reporting that CBS has ordered three additional episodes of the Patrick Wilson-led A GIFTED MAN. Assuming no more episodes are ordered at a later point, that would give the freshman series a 16 hour first season.
Are any of you guys still watching this show? I’ve mentioned it before, but A GIFTED MAN was one of the shows I was surprised to enjoy so much and I find myself consistently drawn in each week. I don’t really understand why it’s not doing better in the ratings (aside from the whole Friday night thing), but I’m curious to see how many of you have stuck around.
So tell me…are you watching A GIFTED MAN? And are you happy it’s getting at least three more episodes?

CASTLE Recasts the Mayor
November 14, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Castle has long used his friendship with the mayor to get what he wants, but when the mayor reappears on CASTLE in an upcoming episode, he’s going to look a little different than fans remembered — ABC has confirmed to Give Me My Remote that Derek Webster will take over the role from Joseph C. Phillips. (Phillips appeared twice in the show’s first season.) TVLine was first to report the casting change.
But why is the mayor finally making an onscreen appearance after being MIA for several seasons? To try and get some info on “Dial M for Mayor,” I went to CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe to see what he could share…

NBC is making some significant changes to their midseason lineup, including switching nights for HARRY’S LAW, UP ALL NIGHT and WHITNEY…and bumping COMMUNITY from their schedule.
Note that this is only the schedule for January 2012 until March 2012, so COMMUNITY should be back on the schedule sometime after that. Less clear is the future for PRIME SUSPECT, which will be replaced by THE FIRM starting January 12. (A few other midseason shows, including the new Jason Isaac’s series, AWAKE, are also MIA from the schedule.)

GLEE’s Darren Criss Makes Big Screen Debut Opposite Kristen Wiig in “Imogene” – First Look
November 14, 2011 by Kath Skerry
Filed under #1 featured, Darren Criss, Glee
GLEE star Darren Criss will make his big screen debut in 2012 opposite Kristen Wiig, Annette Bening and Matt Dillon in the film ‘Imogene’.
In the movie, a playwright (Wiig) stages a suicide in an attempt to win back her ex, only to wind up in the custody of her gambling-addict mother (Bening).
Criss stars as Lee, a younger love interest to Wiig’s Imogene. According to sources, Lee moonlights as a boy bander. And based on these pics – one who isn’t afraid of a little guy-liner.
Do you think Darren Criss is ready for the big screen?
We certainly do (ok, probably not a shocker there).
Let’s face it, this guy is certainly not afraid of tacking different forms of mediums.

The Cast of PAN AM Teases ‘Unscheduled Departure’

Filed under #1 featured, Pan Am
As we’ve previously teased, Sunday’s brand new episode of PAN AM puts the crew in a dangerous situation when an on-board emergency forces them to land in war-torn Haiti.
To find out what’s coming up on the show, I sat down with series stars Margot Robbie (Laura), Michael Mosley (Ted), Karine Vanasse (Colette), Mike Vogel (Dean) and Christina Ricci (Maggie) on their New York set — Kelli Garner (Kate) was unavailable due to her filming schedule, so her costars came in on their day off to talk with press — to discuss what goes down in “Unscheduled Departure.” And yes, we did the interviews inside their plane set. (Which is remarkable to be in, if only to see how much travel has changed in 50 years.)
Which character bonds with a local? Which real-life movie star had a hand in the episode? Take a look…
