THE SECRET CIRCLE Preview: ‘Darkness’ Photos, Clips and Teases

January 5, 2012 by

Given that they’re kicking things off with an episode called “Darkness,” it should be no surprise that THE SECRET CIRCLE’s return is pretty freaking dark.

Charles’ mother, Kate, stops by for a visit and stirs up all sorts of trouble for her family — and for Cassie. Poor Cassie is also struggling to make sense of what she’s able to do apart from the circle and turns to a familiar face for help. And you didn’t think Faye was going to take Cassie’s potential extra magical powers lightly, did you? Of course not.

Intrigued? Take a look at some previews and photos from “Darkness”…

They way your photo gallery works is insane. Each time I click to see the next picture the whole webpage reloads, including the multilple security warnings telling me I am about to view something (ads, I believe) over a a secure connection. This takes quite a bit of time (and I am not using a dialup connection).

This makes it impractical to look at the pictures. Other sites leave the overall page alone and just update the picture shown.

@John – Apologies, I definitely don’t encounter the same situation when I view the slideshow. (And I have no idea why there are security warnings…) I’ll look to see if there’s something I can do to make it easier.

The security warnings (You are about to view something over a secure connection… (or about to leave a secure connection…)) are not new or unique to this site. They started popping up a few months ago, first on one site and now on many sites, and I am not talking about sites where I need a user name/ password to sign in. I have my security settings set to show when I am using a sceure connection or not.

The reloading the entire webpage to see a new picture is unique to this site, of the ones I go to. For example, TVLine uses photo slide shows and when I go to a new picture the photo shown changes but the entire page does not reload.

I appreciate your looking into it.
