Will You Watch THE KILLING Season 2?
January 14, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
Who killed Rosie Larsen? If you’ve been dying to find out the answer to that year-old question, you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer.
Joel Stillerman, AMC’s SVP of Original Programming, revealed that yes, Rosie Larsen’s killer would be revealed in the upcoming season — but it won’t be until the sophomore year concludes.
“I can confirm reports the killer will be revealed in the season 2 finale,” he told reporters before he kicked off AMC’s TCA sessions. (THE KILLING was also supposed to have a panel here today, but dropped out due to “production conflicts.”)
Given the vocal outrage post-season 1 finale when Rosie’s killer was still at large, is this really the best solution to the problem? While on one hand, leaving it vague about when the mystery will be resolved has the risk of alienating viewers as they get more and more frustrated with the non-answers, but it also seems like telling us flat-out we won’t get the case solved until the final hour of the season is risky to say the least.
So what I want to know is given this latest bit of news, will you be watching THE KILLING’s second season? And definitely let me know in the comments if today’s news changed anything for you…
