FRINGE Recap: ‘Enemy of My Enemy’
January 21, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
It’s very weird to talk about FRINGE on an episode-by-episode basis, because in many ways, it feels like we should be “judging” this season as an entire arc — more so than any other season in the past — and yet, that’s not how television works.
It’s also a little bit hard because at the end of season two, our FRINGE world drastically changed. With Olivia stuck in the alt-universe, we had to adjust to new characters in the beginning of season 3 (with familiar faces and names) and root for her to get home. (Of course, we also spent every other episode on “our” side with our familiar characters and Fauxlivia.) It took a little bit of time, but things got back to normal — or as normal as they’re ever going to be on FRINGE.
And then at the end of season 3, things changed again. Peter disappeared from existence. There was no way the show could (or should) be the same as it was before that twist. So now we’re in season 4, in an entirely new timeline, with familiar (yet different) characters, and with Peter as our one touchstone to all that was familiar the previous seasons.
Of course, if you’re reading this, you likely already know all of these things. So why am I saying this? Because as much as I enjoyed tonight’s episode, I can imagine it greatly frustrated many of you.
CHUCK Recap: ‘Chuck vs.The Bullet Train’
January 21, 2012 by Al Mosier
THE MISSION – Sarah (newly intersected) and Casey set out to rescue Chuck from a bullet train in Japan. He’s being held by Nicholas Quinn, one of the most nefarious villains to appear on the show ever! He’s really, really bad! As bad as Shaw!
Using the intersect implanted in Sarah, the team seems to have captured Quinn but all manner of things go awry. Meanwhile, Morgan, Alex, Devon and Ellie are working feverishly back in Castle to find a way to suppress Sarah’s intersect before it can damage her brain irreversibly. Quinn’s minions capture Alex and hold her as a hostage.
FRINGE: Joshua Jackson on Peter’s Reunion With Elizabeth, Olivia’s Fate and More

Last week’s episode of FRINGE kicked many storylines into high-gear, but one of the calmer (and sweetest) moments of the hour was when Peter’s mother, Elizabeth, recognized her long-dead “son.”
Given how everyone in Peter’s life has no memory of him — and has shown very little desire to get to know him — what did it mean for the youngest Bishop to have that connection?

It’s crazy to believe, but CHUCK is a few days away from finishing up.
When I caught up with Vik Sahay (Lester) and Mekenna Melvin (Alex) at the NBC Golden Globes after-party, we talked about life post-CHUCK, about Sahay’s on-set injury and whether Melvin got the Alex/Morgan ending she was hoping for.

THE BIG BANG THEORY Producers Weigh in On Episode 100’s Twist and What’s to Come

Whenever a show does any sort of dream sequence, there’s always a risk fans will be unhappy to see that any progress made in the alt-world doesn’t impact the “real” world. But rest assured, THE BIG BANG THEORY fans, that’s not the case for last night’s 100th episode dream sequence.
“It does not fail to move the series story forward,” THE BIG BANG THEORY co-creator Bill Prady promised. “It does not exist separately from the series.”
So why did they choose to have a dream sequence? And what can fans expect next? To try and get some answers, I spoke with Prady and executive producer Steve Molaro for some answers…

Thursday night was one of those instances when my TiVo was lucky it didn’t get thrown out a window — not only did it not record the last few minutes of AMERICAN IDOL, but it prematurely deleted THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.
Yeah…it was that kind of night.
But I did watch a few shows, so let’s talk about Thursday night TV!

Jared Harris Talks About His FRINGE Return and the New Season of MAD MEN

The good news for actor Jared Harris? He’s on two quality shows right now. (He’s David Robert Jones on FRINGE and Lane Pryce on MAD MEN.)
The bad news? There is virtually nothing he can say about either series.
But when I caught up with Harris at the AMC-hosted cocktail party for MAD MEN recently, I couldn’t resist trying to get a few answers out of him…

Happy 100th episode, THE BIG BANG THEORY!
Yes, our favorite nerds are celebrating the big 1-0-0, and when I hit up the party celebrating the big milestone, I couldn’t resist asking series stars Simon Helberg (Howard), Kunal Nayyar (Raj), Mayim Bialik (Amy), and Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) what fans could expect from the episode…

Can you believe it’s almost time for the 100th episode of GOSSIP GIRL?
The CW just released a few early photos from the milestone episode and the shots are very clearly from a dream sequence, with Serena dressed up as a famous blonde bombshell, surrounded by the men…and eventually her BFF, Blair.

THE FINDER: Michael Clarke Duncan on Leo’s Relationship with Walter and Those BONES Crossovers

Are there any lines THE FINDER’s Walter can cross that Leo won’t be okay with?
Given how close the duo are (and how trouble-making Walter can be), you might think there would be some things Leo wouldn’t be okay with — but according to Michael Clarke Duncan (Leo), his character is around to make sure those lines don’t get crossed and if they do the situation is handled.
Take a look at my chat with Duncan, which includes his wish for another BONES-THE FINDER crossover…

Wednesday night TV is madness!
Surely I can’t be the only one who gets to the middle of the week, looks at how much television is on and starts trying to graph how the heck it’s going to be possible to watch it all. (Or maybe I am…)
So let’s talk about what was on last night!
