For months, the BONES cast and crew have been talking up their brand new serial killer. And now, it’s finally time to meet him.

“Well, we’re actually really excited about this episode,” executive producer Stephen Nathan teased. “Because it ties up a loose end with Booth and Brennan in terms of where the next phase of their life will be. And it also introduces a new serial killer who will be instrumental of changing the course of the series for quite a while. By the end of the year, by the end of the season, their lives will be thrown into a tremendous amount of turmoil.”

THE BIG BANG THEORY returns tonight for its first episode of 2012, and co-creator Bill Prady has an interesting tease for what happens: “Sheldon will be a better boyfriend.”

Um, Sheldon? Our Sheldon? True, his being a better boyfriend could constitute him doing nearly anything for Amy, but…really?

“I don’t know if he does,” executive producer Steve Molaro clarified. “But he attempts to learn it.”

“Sheldon learns to how to pretend to be a better boyfriend,” Prady laughed. “I think that’s the moral — we feel this episode will educate the men of the world of the shortcuts to appearing to be a better and more caring man.”

30 ROCK finally returns this Thursday! And if that isn’t exciting enough, the BONES spin-off, THE FINDER, premieres tonight! Of course, I’ll be tuning into my beloved PARKS AND RECREATION, which will make this night even better.

What will you watch tonight? Check out your choices below!

The Big Bang Theory | 8pm on CBS
“The Shiny Trinket Maneuver”
Sheldon gets in trouble with Amy when he isn’t impressed by her recent accomplishment, and Howard must come to grips with Bernadette’s dislike of children.

30 Rock | 8pm on NBC
“Dance Like Nobody’s Watching”
As everyone returns from holiday break, NBC’s new talent competition, “America’s Kidz Got Singing”, is a hit, but Jenna’s role as the judge everyone loves to hate causes Jack to question the show’s family value. Much to his chagrin, Tracy’s usual antics fail to aggravate Liz (Tina Fey), while Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) takes the day off to do his dream chores as he awaits the Rapture.

Bones | 8pm on Fox
“The Crack in the Code”
A cryptic message penned in human blood is discovered at a national monument. As the Jeffersonian team embarks on a scavenger hunt to solve the case, they realize their tech-savvy suspect remains one step ahead of them. Meanwhile, Booth and Brennan search for the perfect home for their new family.

Winter Wipeout | 8pm on ABC
“Ice, Ice Baby”
In order for contestants to get their mittens on the cold, hard $50,000 grand prize, they must first face the Snowboard Half Pipe, as they try to defy gravity but find themselves falling to the ground like scintillating snowflakes. Next on the course, players receive a swift kick in the ski pants from the abominable Snow Boot, followed by a frosty trip to Avalanche Alley, where conditions are perfect for scattered flurries of Wipeouts. Only the final three players who can weather the chilly conditions on the course will make it to the Winter Wipeout Zone, where the race for the fastest time really heats things up.

The Vampire Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“Our Town”
Although Caroline is in no mood to celebrate her 18th birthday, Elena, Bonnie and Matt surprise her with a small party in an unusual location. Damon and Stefan disagree on the best way to handle Klaus, and a reckless Stefan decides to test his theory by taking things to dangerous extremes. Bonnie is concerned when Elena tells her about Jeremy’s new plans. At a Founder’s meeting, Alaric once again runs into Dr. Fell, who is in the middle of an argument with her ex-boyfriend, the medical examiner. Tyler refuses to go along with Klaus’ latest demand, and is surprised when Klaus seems to accept his decision.

Rob | 8:30pm on CBS

It’s been a very bizarre week for ONE LIFE TO LIVE fans.

On one hand, the long-running soap is gearing up for its series finale this Friday on ABC. And while the Prospect Park deal fell through, news broke today that four ONE LIFE TO LIVE stars will bring their characters over to GENERAL HOSPITAL.

I spent time with two of the actors heading to Port Charles — Kassie DePaiva (Blair) and Kristen Alderson (Starr), who have spent the last nearly 14 years playing mother and daughter on the ABC drama — at OLTL’s final press day in New York late last year, where they very clearly weren’t ready to say goodbye to these characters and this experience.

Take a look at our chat about their time together, the men in their characters’ lives and much more…
