While singing a song by one of THE VOICE coaches could be risky, does it count as much if the coach merely participated on a cover? THE VOICE contestant Jesse Campbell chose to perform Leon Russell’s “A Song For You” (which Christina Aguilera has covered in the past) during his blind audition and boy did he knock it out of the park.
Did you miss the audition? Or perhaps you want to rewatch it? (Which I may have done a few times.) Take a look!
What did you think of Jesse Campbell’s audition?

Look at that! Christina said she would fight for him….she was the one who
let him go!…..She said that his singing blew all of her expectations.
She truly is not a woman of her word because each person on her team probably
expected for her to fight for them. He was the only one America didn’t vote off.
