FRINGE Recap: ‘Nothing As It Seems’

True to the episode’s title, FRINGE’s “Nothing As It Seems” was, well, nothing like it seemed.

The hour seemed to be an easy enough case (a rehash of season 1’s “The Transformation”), but it ended up…on a boat with about 3,231,526 more questions. Because I really want to try and have a group mind meld so we can figure out what the frak is going on, let’s briefly touch on what actually went down before we try and figure out the implications…

SUPERNATURAL: Sera Gamble Teases ‘Party On, Garth’ and a Season Finale Cliffhanger

It’s no secret Dean has been drinking quite a bit this season on SUPERNATURAL, but in tonight’s episode, he at least has a good reason to indulge — he needs to be drunk to find the monster the Winchester brothers are hunting!

“Garth is returning in an episode that has a pretty epic couple of drinking scenes,” executive producer Sera Gamble teased. “Garth and the boys are working on a case that is around an alcohol monster — a monster that you have to be drunk to see. So there are a few scenes that are just so hilarious; where Sam and Dean, and also Garth, have to get pretty sauced to deal with the monster.”

BONES Renewed For Season 8

We’re days away from the midseason return of BONES, but there seems to be even more good news to report — the show has been renewed for an eighth season.

“#Bones will be back for season 8!!” BONES executive producer Stephen Nathan tweeted. “We’re back, baby!!!”

“Over the past seven seasons, Hart Hanson, Stephen Nathan and the incredible BONES cast and crew have redefined the traditional crime procedural with an irreverent and adventurous sensibility and I’m really happy to have this distinctive, fan-favorite on our schedule for another season,” Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company said in a statement.

Not a bad week to be a BONES fan, huh?

Meanwhile, Klaus and Rebekah find the perfect motivator to convince Finn to cooperate with them, but Rebekah is more interested in her own brutal plan to take revenge on Damon.
