About Last Night…AMERICAN IDOL, HAPPY ENDINGS, and PSYCH
March 29, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
Can I have most of my ABC comedies back? Wednesdays feel so empty without them. But there are still a few things to talk about, so let’s chat about last night’s television…
I’m glad AMERICAN IDOL seems to have settled into a groove. Not sure why we need to stoop to already having group performances during the performance nights (shouldn’t that indicate it’s time to just make the show shorter?), but at least the contestants seem to finally be comfortable in their skin and very few performances made me cringe. So…yay!
One of the bad things about viewing shows 3 hours later than half the country is that if you don’t completely stay off social media, odds are someone’s going to have an opinion about a show that you’ve yet to see. I saw a lot of people majorly praising HAPPY ENDINGS and yet…it didn’t quite live up to what I hoped. Hopefully you guys enjoyed it more?
PSYCH! A solid episode, but nothing cracked me up more than Kirsten Nelson rapping to “No Scrubs” during the PSYCH Out at the end of the hour. Can we have her do more on the show, please?
