BONES’ Tamara Taylor: Cam is ‘Not Very Graceful’ About Michelle’s New Romance

Cam has never had a particularly easy road with Michelle, but things rise to a whole new level of awkward in tonight’s brand new episode when her adopted daughter falls for the newest squintern, Finn. So how is Cam handling the news?

“In usual Cam fashion, not very well,” BONES star Tamara Taylor (Cam) laughed. “Not very graceful at all.”

Making the situation even more uncomfortable is Finn’s criminal background. (Every mother wants that for their little girl, right?) While viewers — and the Jeffersonian team — know about his background, is Michelle privy to that important information?

“She does [know], because he tells her,” she noted. “None of it goes very well for Cam again. In the end, everything works itself out, but it’s a little bit of drama.”

And how about Cam’s love life? Last we saw she was still happily with her doctor boyfriend, Paul, but it’s been quite a while since we got an update on the duo.

“I think things with Paul are still happening,” Taylor said. “We haven’t seen him for a minute…Poor Cam is just being left out in the cold.”

Another way Cam is out in the cold? She’s currently the only Jeffersonian female (that we regularly see) who is without a baby. Sure, Cam may have publicly supported a Booth and Brennan relationship over the years, but given her past romantic relationship with Booth, you’d think it would be a teeny tiny bit awkward to see him with his live-in girlfriend and their new baby.

“It’s interesting, I think because Cam and Booth are such good friends, I think she’s just been really, really happy for them both,” Taylor said. “Like you said, she’s been a cheerleader for them getting together for so many years that I think she’s good with them [now that they’re a couple].”

However, Cam’s stance on babies in the lab hasn’t changed.

“The babies in the lab are going to be a hot mess, I can tell,” she laughed. “Because everybody’s taking the babies into the lab, so I know that’s going to be an issue for Cam. I think it’s going to be a recurring thing.”

Poor Cam.
