About Last Night…THE VOICE, COUGAR TOWN, THE L.A. COMPLEX

Let’s talk about Tuesday night TV!

I think Adam had the easier elimination choice on THE VOICE last night, but either way, now that we’re down to eight singers, I feel like it’s going to be a tough competition. I don’t want to lose any of them at this point! (8 people can win a reality show, right?)

Anyone else hear Jules talking about how Ellie “stole my thunder” on COUGAR TOWN and immediately think of Monica and Rachel on FRIENDS? And if this was any other show, I’d be really worried about how Jules and Grayson don’t seem to have any idea how to mesh their lives together to be a married unit, but this is COUGAR TOWN. I’m sure they’ll figure it out and drink a lot of wine while trying.

I actually enjoyed THE L.A. COMPLEX. I don’t know if I feel sympathetic yet towards any of these characters, but I’m intrigued to see where they go, and really, that’s a good start for a pilot. If we could cut down on vomit in future episodes, I’d appreciate THAT.

I didn’t get the chance to watch GLEE, but Samantha kindly recapped the hour for us here. I’m a little terrified the show will disappoint me.
