Did any of you watch the premiere of MAGIC CITY? I sadly don’t have Starz, but I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan (RIP Denny Duquette), so I recommend checking it out in its new time slot.

Read on to see what else in new tonight!

Undercover Boss | 8pm on CBS
“Budget Blinds”
Budget Blinds CEO Chad Hallock decides to take a job undercover at his window-coverings company.

The Finder | 8pm on Fox
“The Last Meal”
Joe and Annie, a once-happily married couple, ate at The Bella Plata restaurant every year on their anniversary, until mob boss Fico Vasquez closed it down. Now, to save his marriage, Joe asks Walter to help him find the meal over which he and his wife first fell in love. To do that, Walter must track down the restaurant’s chef, whom the mob also is looking for. Meanwhile, Willa gets thrown back in jail after getting into a fight with a girl who’s impersonating her.

Shark Tank | 8pm on ABC

For the first time, an entrepreneur who walked away from a deal returns to the Tank and is given another chance at the American dream. During the revived negotiation that started in Season 2, James Martin from The Dalles, OR, phones Jim Koch, co-founder of Samuel Adams beer, for advice on the Sharks’ latest offer to invest in Copa Di Vino, a plastic wine-in-a-cup business. Also, a versatile inventor from San Antonio, TX, must prove to the Sharks the waste products created by his 100-foot tall generator can be transformed into gold; a housewife from Kokomo, IN, wants the Sharks’ help to grow her handcrafted cookie company into a household name; and a former medical student from Penfield, NY, makes T-shirts where a motivational message appears when activated by sweat.

FRINGE: Now That Olivia Remembers Peter and Her Timeline, Is Walter Next? Josh Jackson Weighs In

April 12, 2012 by

Most fans of FRINGE’s Peter and Olivia were thrilled when she finally remembered her life from our original timeline (and Peter got confirmation he had been home all along), but there has been one key thing that has been missing — Walter’s memories.

True, Walter and Peter had a lovely moment in “Nothing As It Seems,” but it’s still not the relationship we spent three seasons growing to love. So when I sat down with Josh Jackson (Peter) on the FRINGE set last week, I asked him whether his character would now be trying to get his father to remember his past now that Olivia has finally “returned” to the right state of mind.

What was his answer? Check it out…

TV Time Capsule: Adam Scott on ‘Boy Meets World’

April 12, 2012 by
Filed under #1 featured, TV Time Capsule

GIVE ME MY REMOTE.com is opening up the TV Time Capsule and taking a look at some of our very favorite television stars from…well, before they were our favorite television stars.

Today’s TV Time Capsule is a two-for-one treat. Not only do we get to look back at some of the earlier work of Adam Scott (PARKS & REC) but we get to see him do his thing on one of our favorite shows from yesteryear, BOY MEETS WORLD. (Cory + Topanga 4-EVA!)

We know you love Adam Scott as Ben Wyatt on PARKS AND REC, and you of course loved him as Harry Pollard on the woefully under watched PARTY DOWN. But do you remember his days as bad ass Griff Hawkins?

Check him out!

Bonus points if you can name the other now famous faces featured in this video!

What other stars would you like to see us pluck from the TV Time Capsule? Let us know!

FRINGE: Lance Reddick Teases Things Come to a Head With Alt-Broyles and David Robert Jones

April 12, 2012 by

It’s been months since FRINGE viewers were first clued into the fact that alt-Broyles is working with David Robert Jones, but in the aftermath of alt-Lincoln’s death, things are about to come to a head.

I sat down with Lance Reddick (Broyles) last week on the FRINGE set to talk about what’s to come from him in “The Consultant,” how much he’s known of what his character is up to, and whether fans should be bracing for his alt-persona to meet another tragic end. (And as a minor spoiler alert, he does rule out one possibility of what is going on with alt-Broyles during our interview.)

Comments Off on Thursday’s SNAP JUDGMENT – TOUCH

Here’s the thing about doing these SNAP JUDGMENTs every day…there might be a dozen shows on the air, but sometimes only a couple of them actually release photos from their episode. Whoops?

The good news? While our options may have been limited, I think I found a good one for you guys.

What is SNAP JUDGMENT, you ask?

Every day we’ll pick our favorite promotional picture from that night’s new television episodes and we’ll showcase it here. Then you guys can speculate what goes down in the scene/what you’d like to see happen/caption the pic however you want in the comments section.

So which show amused us today?

TOUCH!

The problem with using this show is I feel a little guilty making jokes, but…

BONES: ‘The Don’t in the Do’ Video Preview Features Sweets Accidentally Propositioning Booth, and Brennan Having Post-Baby Body Issues

April 11, 2012 by

BONES’ Brennan might be one of the smartest women in the world, but that doesn’t mean she’s exempt from having difficulties adjusting to a post-baby body.

And Booth? Well, he’s doing the best he can to diffuse the situation. Unfortunately, his solution is to bring Cam into it (you can imagine how thrilled Brennan is with that) and then he loops Sweets into their problems — and Sweets accidentally, kind of/sort of, propositions Booth. (Oh yes, it’s awkward.)

Intrigued? Take a look at the clips below…

Comments Off on FRINGE: ‘The Consultant’ Video Preview Teases Meana Versus Fauxlivia, Walter Crossing Over and More

Fresh off poor Alt-Lincoln’s death (moment of silence, please), things are changing up a bit on FRINGE.

First off? Fauxlivia is pissed. And with Meana in captivity, she’s got someone to unleash her frustration out on as she tries to figure out who the mole is. (Albeit, she’s a lot less physical than I would have been in her shoes. Still, I think we can all agree Alt-Broyles is in for a world of hurt when Fauxlivia discovers his secret.)

What else? Our Fringe team investigates a case and Walter preps to cross Over There.

Comments Off on DON’T TRUST THE B—- IN APARTMENT 23: James Van Der Beek on Getting Feedback Pre-Premiere, Playing Himself and More

Comedy pilots have the tendency to be rough, but I’m obsessed with the new ABC series DON’T TRUST THE B—- IN APARTMENT 23.

Sure, the central conflict of the series does appear to be wrapped up in the pilot, but trust me, it’s not. (I’ve seen two episodes beyond what airs tonight.) Krysten Ritter’s Chloe is appallingly terrible, but often not intentionally (or at least not maliciously). And, of course, the series has James Van Der Beek playing…James Van Der Beek.

I hopped on the phone with Van Der Beek to talk about the show finally premiering, playing himself, and what viewers can expect from the fictionalized version of JVDB…

AWAKE Exclusive First Look: Britten and Vega Investigate the Death of a Man Found in Concrete

AWAKE has had many mind-bending moments in its first season (and we’re only halfway done!), but would you think less of me if I admitted what I’m currently geeking out about is the freaking amazing corpse in this week’s episode?

Yes, I want to know which reality is real and what the heck happened in that car crash, but there is a body in concrete! (Which, sadly, Britten and Vega aren’t as impressed by. I feel you, Mr. Coroner. What you did was awesome.)

Take a look at an exclusive clip from this week’s episode of AWAKE…
