Given how crazy Thursdays generally are, tonight’s schedule seems pretty freaking manageable.
Take a look at your options for tonight’s television…

“Gyre, Parts 1 & 2”
As the Aster Corporation increases their interest in Jake, Martin joins forces with Abigail (guest star Catherine Dent) as the stakes of Jake’s custody escalate. When Avram (guest star Bohdi Elfman) reiterates to Martin that Jake and Amelia, a presumed dead girl with similar characteristics as Jake, are connected, Martin sets out on a passionate mission to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, circumstances intensify when Lucy (guest star Maria Bello) enters the picture and seemingly unrelated events are tied together.

The music industry’s biggest Superstars, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke, take the stage and perform classic duets with their hand-picked Duet Partners. Hosted by Quddus, the series is a one-of a kind singing competition that takes the Superstars out from behind the judges’ panel and onto the stage
Breaking Pointe | 8pm on The CW | Series Premiere
“Survival of the Fittest”
For the first time ever, the beauty and grace of ballet, the world’s preeminent dance form, will be brought to television. Viewers will also see the dark side of this seemingly perfect world; the jealousy, competition and intensity that exist behind the scenes at a professional ballet company. Led by Ballet West’s Artistic Director Adam Sklute, Ballet West and Ballet West II’s company of 48 dancers includes Principal Artist Christiana Bennett, Principal Artist Christopher Ruud, Soloist Tom Mattingly, Soloist Ronnie Underwood, Demi-Soloist Allison DeBona, Demi-Soloist Rex Tilton, Adrian Fry, Beckanne Sisk, Kathleen Martin and Ronald Tilton. [And if you need more incentive to watch, take a look at what Sklute, Underwood and Sisk told reporters last week about their engaging new series.]

The regular season of television may be nearly over, but I have a new addiction to get me through the summer — The CW’s reality series about ballet dancers, BREAKING POINTE.
So what can you expect from the new show?
“The show is a season in the life of Ballet West,” explained Adam Sklute, Artistic Director of Ballet West, to reporters at a recent press event. “The look into all of our lives, both what we’re doing professionally and what we do when we go home and what it’s like to live the life of a ballet dancer.”
But don’t be fooled by potential misconceptions of ballet dancers — the training and schedule these dancers must go through is rigorous.

Read on to see what you’ll be checking out tonight!
Cougar Town | 8 and 8:30pm on ABC | Season Finale
“My Life”/”Your World”
When Grayson complains that he’s living the movie “Groundhog Day” because the gang shows up at the same time every day at Jules’ house, Jules asks for a “Groundhog Day”-themed bachelorette party so that Ellie and Laurie can explain the movie to her. Then, fed up with the lack of privacy, Grayson convinces Jules to elope to Napa . . . but the cul de sac crew happily tags along. David Arquette guest stars as a hotel concierge who’ll go to great (and possibly illegal) lengths to help the wine wedding go off without a hitch.

Meanwhile, restaurant general manager Morgan is taken out of the kitchen and competes on behalf of the hotel in a beach volleyball tournament.
