The CW Renews NIKITA, HART OF DIXIE, GOSSIP GIRL, Cancels THE SECRET CIRCLE and RINGER

It’s a good news/bad news sort of day for CW viewers.

A CW spokesperson has confirmed that NIKITA has been renewed for a third season, while Josh Schwartz tweeted out GOSSIP GIRL will return for a final season and HART OF DIXIE has been renewed for season 2. (CW has not yet commented on the GG and HOD renewals.)

Less positive? Reportedly THE SECRET CIRCLE and RINGER have been canceled.
