GMMR TV Awards: Favorite Actress (Comedy) – Vote Now!
June 19, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
It’s time to vote for the GMMR TV Awards!
Give Me My Remote readers sent in their top nominations for more than 20 different categories and now it’s time for you to choose your top pick! Most of the categories have five nominees, but due to ties, the number can vary.
Next up: “Favorite Actress (Comedy).”
Take a look at your nominees and then vote for your choice below…
Amy Poehler (Leslie, PARKS AND RECREATION)
A woman who perfectly embodies the word "adorkable"; a neurobiologist with a penchant for craving more from her friends and "boyfriend" than they are comfortable with; the newest member of Pawnee's city council; and an actress/waitress who spends a whole lot of time with the nerds across the hall. Which comedic actress has your vote for "Favorite Actress"?
Want to make sure your pick takes the top spot? Tweet it! Tumble it! Facebook it! Hell even Google+ it… “I just voted for [your favorite actress here] as Favorite Actress (Comedy) in the GMMR TV Awards: http://bit.ly/MpRvpC Vote now!” and we’ll retweet/reblog some of the replies that amuse us the most from @GiveMeMyRemote and our Tumblr account.

Good grief. Stiff, robotic, prattle-the-lines-off-the-script-declamation-contest-style-except-constantly-ending-in-Valley-girl-question-marks Mayim Bialik is here and multiple Emmy winner Tina Fey is not? Sheldon said it best: “I weep for humanity.”
My vote goes for Mayim!, she is the funniest.
Mayim!

I almost clicked on Zooey’s name (“meep meep” was just soo funny to me for some reason!), but I had to pick Amy Poehler. I hope she gets an Emmy! I’d also pick Mary MacCormack as the funniest person in a drama (In Plain Sight). Love her!
