Sabrina’s family is expanding on RAISING HOPE.
Just yesterday, news broke that Melanie Griffith was in talks to play Sabrina’s mother, Tamara. Now, not only has that deal been finalized, but Griffith’s real-life mother, Tippi Hedren, has signed on to play Sabrina’s grandmother, Nana. (Please, oh please, let there be some sort of scene with Hedren and Cloris Leachman’s Maw Maw.)

If you can’t get enough dance in your life, Oxygen has the perfect new series for you.
ALL THE RIGHT MOVES is a new docu-series that follows the lives of dancers Travis Wall, Teddy Forance, Nick Lazzarini, and Kyle Robinson as they move in together and try to launch their dance company, Shaping Sounds. And since they’re dancers, viewers will also be treated to a bunch of dancing — both rehearsals and full scale performances — in the series.
I spoke with Wall, Forance, Lazzarini, and Robinson recently about the impacts of having a camera on them as they build their business, what viewers can expect from the show, what they’re excited to see, and more…

Well, this is certainly…interesting.
E!Online is reporting that Melanie Griffith is in final talks to join RAISING HOPE as Sabrina’s mother. (A Fox spokesperson declined to comment.)
So far, we don’t really know much about Sabrina’s family. We know her parents are wealthy — and that Shelly is her cousin — but now would be just as good a time as any for the Chances to meet the people who raised Sabrina, right?
RAISING HOPE returns Tuesday, October 2nd at 8 PM on Fox.

“We are moving ahead with the conclusion of the THE BIG C,” David Nevins, President of Showtime, told reporters during his Television Critics Association executive session.
And instead of a traditional season run, Nevins said the series will conclude with “four one-hour installments.”

CBS at TCA: Nina Tassler on the Future of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

With HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER about to start the second year of its two-year pickup — and starting its eighth season overall — how long the comedy can last on CBS has become an increasingly important issue.
“They had an incredible year last year,” CBS president Nina Tassler said during her Television Critics Association panel. “We’ve got a great relationship with [co-creators] Craig [Thomas] and Carter [Bays], and certainly they have a very strategic wrap‑up to the show. They know we want the show to come back next year. We are having conversations right now about extending it [beyond next season]. So we’re not planning it right now. We want the show to come back next year.”
