Can’t really argue…but still love the “No Booth…let it melt”

  2. CastleFan1012 on July 3rd, 2012 4:05 pm

how did Castle not get favorite couple together or not together or favorite drama?

  3. JAA on July 3rd, 2012 4:57 pm

WOW, Castle for the win 😀

  4. madbengalsfan85 on July 3rd, 2012 4:58 pm

Klaine winning favorite couple was a surprise…really thought either Caskett or B&B would win that one…figure there’s a lot of GA fans ready to jump ship, no surprise there. And as for Bones winning Favorite Drama…WHO-HOO!!!!!

  5. Andrea on July 3rd, 2012 6:00 pm

yess Castle! 😀 I’m glad to see Chuck in here as well, really miss them but I’m glad I still have Castle (and cant wait for the next season!!)

  6. Ali on July 3rd, 2012 7:00 pm

Woah, Castle domination! Glad Kurt & Blaine won best couple (together), and I still think HIMYM needs an end-date..though I’d miss NPH and Alyson Hannigan.

  7. T on July 3rd, 2012 7:57 pm

I’m glad Kurt and Blaine won best couple! They really are the cutest!

  8. Ann on July 3rd, 2012 8:08 pm

Kurt and Blaine winning best couple (together) – much deserved! They’re amazing <3

  9. deddd on July 3rd, 2012 8:16 pm

Kurt and Blaine!!! *-* Yes, GLEE SUCKS, but they totally deserved this!!!

  10. N on July 3rd, 2012 8:33 pm

So basically Glee is the most disappointing show with the worst finale, but they have the best couple? Sounds about right.

  11. homm on July 3rd, 2012 8:45 pm

Honestly Kurt and Blaine are the only reasons i’m still watching Glee.

  12. Ana Luisa on July 3rd, 2012 10:00 pm

It has nothing to do they have won, Bones and Booth are much better, gives a lot of anger!

  13. Ana Luisa on July 3rd, 2012 10:09 pm

Bones as best winning series is precisely to show that fans do not care to castle series as a whole and only for the main characters, hats’re there to show they are better together!

  14. homm on July 3rd, 2012 10:51 pm

I’m sorry if you’re pissed but Kurt and Blaine means a lot for the LGBT community, they’re an unique and perfect role model for us, the queer people. Booth and Brennan are cute together but that’s all, they’re nothing unusual or unforgettable.

  15. Beckstle on July 3rd, 2012 11:04 pm

@ Ana Louise – Given the outcomes of the polls, it looks more like Bones winning best drama series has more to do with Castle fans missing a category when voting – I mean they were nominated in SO many categories. Won so many too. So many little dots to click… 😀

  16. Zepp on July 3rd, 2012 11:40 pm

My congratulations to all winners of the “2nd Annual Awards Guive Me My Remote.”

  17. Beckstle on July 3rd, 2012 11:56 pm

@homme I don’t watch Glee, but I do get the milestone sensibility of happy GLBT high school sweethearts being portrayed on national television. Obviously I’m a Castle fan, but as amazing as Castle & Beckett are, they’ll have other years for best couple as their official relationship develops. Castle’s a show that just keeps getting better – and it was good to start with. Besides, the Castle milestone is more about having a couple getting together without 1st being dragged out beyond belief with ridiculous roadblocks ala Moonlighting or Bones. It’s not like they’re the first heterosexual couple on television.

When I was in high school I nearly lost a friend to suicide because they couldn’t accept their sexuality. This was way before GLBT relationships were even MENTIONED on television. So, yes, I’m thrilled with the existence of the Klanie storyline. Being that (like I said, I don’t watch GLEE so I can’t judge) Glee also won most disappointing season and worst finale, it also makes it seem like the show may be wrapping soon…. Even if it isn’t, I’ve read Kurt is graduating, so this would be the year for Klanie to really be spotlighted as a together high school couple. So even though Caskett IS my personal favorite, I can’t say I’m sorry the Glee fandom
pulled it off. Congrats to GLEE!

  18. Stephanie on July 4th, 2012 12:59 am

Thank you so much GMMR for giving Castle the recognition it deserves. I am completely happy with every category winner (and thats rare!) so thank you so much!

  19. S on July 4th, 2012 1:36 am

I really don’t get it.The Castle guy is unattractive, untalented and has been trying to be David Boreanaz for roughly two decades. Why not just vote for DB,dammit.

  20. S on July 4th, 2012 1:37 am

Not to mention that the show itself is a total Bones rip-off,which DB has even had the guts to say publicly.

  21. Beckstle on July 4th, 2012 3:22 am

Just off the bat Castle isn’t based on forensics the way Bones is. The unique thing about “Bones” is in fact that bones are the path used to solve their crimes. The procedural componnet on Castle is basic dectective/cop stuff. Castle actually has thru-line stories that are built through the seasons beyond romance issues -Bones does not.

As for the rest of it, Castle is no more a Bones rip-off than Bones is a rip-off of every “will they/won’t they” dectective/mystery/forensic show and movie that’s ever been. It’s a genre Bones certainly can’t lay claim to. If there really was a “rip-off” FOX would have been all over it. Witness Big Brother vs. Glass House. Networks don’t pull punches if they think an idea is being copied. It just so happens that when Bones was screwing up it’s romantic storyline Castle’s was on track and heating up.

  22. Dorica on July 4th, 2012 7:53 am

I TOTALLY agree with all the awards Glee won!
this has really been the most disappointing season so far (I hope next one won’t be worse)
and of course Klaine won “Best Couple”
this show would sink without them!
STOP THE RACHEL STUPID BERRY SHOW!

  23. Karen on July 4th, 2012 7:54 am

Yay! Castle totally cleaned out! 9 wins! Woohoo! Loved Castle so much!

  24. YEP on July 4th, 2012 9:50 am

Speak the truth @beckstle ! C’mon, if Castle would rip any show off it would be a show better than Bones, just sayin’.

  25. Caroline on July 4th, 2012 9:58 am

I’m very disappointed that Sherlock didn’t win anything, because it is truly an amazing show. I hope that as more Americans have their eyes opened to it, because it’s the most intelligent show I’ve ever watched and I enjoy every single second of it. Not to mention that the cast is absolutely flawless and the writing is sheer genius.

  26. Danielle on July 4th, 2012 10:43 am

I agree, Castle is a rip off of Bones. It’s like the Castle writers watch the last season of Bones to get story ideas and then pass them off to their unsuspecting viewers. If you want to watch the BEST then watch Bones. There is nothing better on TV!!!!

  27. Jess on July 4th, 2012 11:26 am

Danielle, I have to laugh at your comment, “Castle writers watch the last season of Bones to get story ideas then pass them off to their unsuspecting viewers?”

    Puh-leese.

Nice attempt at trying to be funny/stand out from everyone else but if Castle really was a rip-off of Bones they would have had lawsuits breathing down their necks before the pilot was even shown.

I love both shows and its a bit of a shame when both fandoms start bickering and acting like little children.

  28. Alex on July 5th, 2012 2:45 am

YES! SO HAPPY! FREAKING BEST DRAMA SERIES TO BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES BONES… ’cause BONES rules!

  29. Jen on July 5th, 2012 2:53 am

Hear, hear Jess! @ Danielle, Castle is NOT a rip-off of Bones. I really despise when fandoms fight with each other. I watch BOTH shows (even though I’m more invested in Castle now cuz of what they did to Booth/Brennan 🙁 ) and enjoy them for what they are to me, entertainment. Why the need to have a pissing contest? And to an earlier comment, David and Nathan couldn’t be more different from each other! Both Nathan & David have their own wonderful successes and I applaud them for it. They are BOTH talented, that’s just ludicrous calling one “untalented”. Grow up!

  30. Kath Skerry on July 5th, 2012 5:29 am

Hey Castle and Bones fans…keep it clean. We don’t play the fan war games around here, so if the name calling goes any further we’re going to shut it down. Deal? It’s just TV guys…there is plenty of love to go around. Think about how much you love your shows, and be happy other TV fans have shows they love just as much. – Kath

  31. Isa on July 5th, 2012 10:24 am

Yaaaay! Klaine! They are the cutest thing ever *-*

  32. madbengalsfan85 on July 5th, 2012 2:55 pm

I came here to see the winners, I keep coming back to watch the war (Personally, I like both Castle and Bones, but I love Bones more than Castle). Don’t get the fandom hate but it does make for great entertainment

  33. Danya Bonezita on July 5th, 2012 2:56 pm

    forever jess
    i love you
    Zooey Deschanel

  34. greg on July 6th, 2012 11:40 am

I am surprised that most of the winners are from Castle don’t get me wrong but I would at least think that shows like Dexter, Chuck, How I met your mother, etc would be more in there.

  35. nope on July 6th, 2012 3:34 pm

kurt and blaine my sweet angels

  36. freedom on July 7th, 2012 1:25 pm

    KLAINE!

  37. Isabella on July 7th, 2012 4:33 pm

I loved House and will miss it terribly. Glad Wilson won the Tearjerker category but really, I hate Glee and wish House had won moren awards here. I hope HUgh Laurie finally wins an Emmy!

  38. graybeard on July 7th, 2012 6:01 pm

Castle has one attribute that really fleshes out the series, viz., Castle’s daughter and her teen-age problems with school and boys. If you’ve ever had a daughter in that age bracket and watched the hormones begin to rage, you’ll understand!

IMO, Castle is perfectly pitched to those of us who are no longer in our twenties or early thirties.

  39. Kath Skerry on July 8th, 2012 1:54 pm

Those fans didn’t make a splash during the nomination process.

  40. graybeard on July 8th, 2012 5:28 pm

    Kath,
There’s one heck of a lot of us whose Monday night viewing habit is to tune in on the last few minutes of the earlier show just to be certain we don’t miss anything on Castle. I guess we’re branded as “The Old Fuds” by the younger generations, although we probably get up later – – and go to bed later – – than our younger kids and grandkids.
Unfortunately, many of us just haven’t found this web page as yet. We don’t go channel-hopping.

  41. Lina on July 11th, 2012 4:26 pm

Bones, la mejor serie…… sin duda alguna. 🙂

  42. Raelee on July 11th, 2012 5:16 pm

    Eep! Yay 😀

  43. Belle on July 11th, 2012 5:21 pm

Ok congrats for KLAINE for wining best tv couple but I think that the people who voted Glee as worst cliff hanger and worst tv series is COMPLETLY WRONG!!!!!! I am veary disappointed in everyone! Glee has made me the person I am today and will always love gee no matter what!!!!!!! If you voted for them to win those i hope you at least tried to watch this season beacuse it was the best! And why didn’t White Collar win anything it is my second fav!!!!!! OMG MY FELINGS💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔😱😱😱😱😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😥😥😰😰😨😨😢😭😭

  44. Andrés G. on July 11th, 2012 5:47 pm

    1. YAY!! KLEIN!!! I totally agree that they are the best couple!!!
    2. I don´t agree with the other two categories … Glee is the best and actually the 3rd seasson was really the bestone…

  45. Isistelle on July 11th, 2012 7:46 pm

Yay for Klaine! Well deserved 😀 At least they saved the honor with Glee….

  46. rumblevines on July 11th, 2012 8:10 pm

    KLAINE KLAINE KLAINE KLAINE.
Of course, Kurt and Blaine are honestly one of the only reasons to still watch glee, also – Glee won worst season finale because we (we meaning glee fans) hated it.
But Klaine honestly are the most beautifully portrayed couple on the whole show and are a huge, huge benefit to the LGBT youth community.

  47. Sol on July 11th, 2012 9:29 pm

Ok, I don’t even watch Castle and I keep wondering why it has won so many awards… but THAT LINE! (Castle: “Because of everything that we have been through together. Four years, I’ve been right here…….”) Maaaaan! That killed me! :3

  48. Emilie on July 12th, 2012 1:38 pm

I love Castle, I am so glad they won in so many categories. If you have not seen Castle its a MUST watch show!!!

  49. lineke on July 12th, 2012 2:00 pm

gooo castle! i’m very happy that they won so many category’s! and i love bones aswell, so good they won best drama series 🙂 i agree with all the winners, no complaining from me! :))

  50. Cate on July 12th, 2012 2:20 pm

Im thrilled that Castle won so many awards! It’s an amazing show! And despite what others have said it appeals to ALL ages! Anyways I love bones also but was really disappointed with the second half of this season especially the finale, I felt like the writers just threw 7 years of amazing storyline out the window…. But I’ve invested so much time in the show that I will continue watching next season… Vote for it in awards when it’s up against something like Castle? No. Definitely not.

  51. Sophie on July 12th, 2012 3:37 pm

    Klaine for best couple? YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! SO PROUD OF MY BABIES ;U;
Nick and Jess? YES!!! YES YES YES!!!
I agree with all of Glee’s awards :3 (Even most disappointing season XD) And So pleased for Big Bang!! Sheldon DESERVED that award!!!
So happy about Klaine though 😀

  52. Nina on July 12th, 2012 7:52 pm

I am so glad House and Wilson won!! They have been the best bromance ever on T.V. and that episode was a real tear jerker!!

  53. Rochelle on July 12th, 2012 8:24 pm

I think that Glee winning most disappointing season and worst season finale cliffhanger was dead on. I understand that RIB have a vision and a direction for they want the show to go in and I wouldn’t say they should throw all that out and just go for fan service BUT Glee’s audience keeps sending RIB the message that what they are doing (Finn being Glee’s “hero”, Rachel having the central focus and everyone and their grandmother propping her as a super special snowflake, characters such as Tina and Artie being marginalized, couples such as Tike getting NO focus, ect) ISN’T working then perhaps it’s time to take a step back and reevaluate. For example the original focus of Family Ties was supposed to be the parents but the audience reaction to Alex’s character was so overwhelmingly positive that the show runners changed direction after the fourth episode aired and made him the focus and well…they lasted seven seasons. There are ways to give fans what they want and still be true to your creative vision-White Collar for example manages to do that quite well.

If Glee doesn’t start giving it’s audience what they keep telling RIB they want and stop shoving things down their throat that they clearly don’t (the ratings speak for themselves, Glee lost a little over two million viewers this season and no episode improved on or even matched the season premiere numbers) Glee will go the way of the OC-huge premiere, major buzz, great first two seasons, really crappy third and done by the fourth. I know way too many people who have quit watching for the show and are only watching for their ships or favorite character now b/c they’re so disappointed in the writing, direction and overall storytelling.

  54. Daniella on July 12th, 2012 11:10 pm

Hell yer. Castle dominated as it should!

  55. Brenda on July 13th, 2012 1:13 am

Great for Castle!! My favorite show so far…and The Big Bang Theory.. Happy for All the winners.

  56. castlefan21 on July 13th, 2012 1:37 am

yaay! iLOVE LOVE LOVE CASTLE 😉 glad they won so many awards!! team CASKETT! can’t wait for the next season <3

  57. Phillip Martinez on July 13th, 2012 3:49 am

I love my Mondays now. Bones at 7, watch that awesomeness and then jump to Castle at 9. I’m a fan of both shows. Though Castle sometimes have the tendency to use a lot of filler episodes. Bones does it as well, but its not as noticeable because half the time I’m waiting for some fluff moments. And because both shows have their main couples together, it is very incre… wait for it because it is that awesome… dible!!!!!

  58. Phillip Martinez on July 13th, 2012 3:55 am

Oh snap! Its Miranda Lawson!!! Oh wait.. that’s just the chick from chuck…

  59. TM on July 13th, 2012 7:50 am

Happy about Castle winning as many categories as it did 😀 And also, for the people who keep insulting either Bones or Castle (shows or fandoms), you certainly won’t convince the other fandom that their show is worse, all you will manage to do is make some of those people who love both shows (like me) pick a side, and it may not be yours. Some fans insult another show just because they “think” they know everything that is wrong with it, based on the complaints some vocal fans have on certain forums/sites. It’s like a person who hasn’t watched the 3rd season of glee saying that it sucks, just because that’s the popular opinion. These people just make me (and I’m sure I’m not the only one) embarrassed of being a fan of the same show as them. So when a Bones fan starts insulting Castle it actually makes me like Bones a little less, and the other way around. It may sound illogical, and I know it’s not the show’s fault, but it is what it is. So by doing this you will probably drive some of the fans of your favorite show away from the fandom, which can only be bad for the show itself.

  60. Anon on July 14th, 2012 5:07 pm

So according to this site’s awards, Castle is the only good thing on television and everything else mostly sucks. Was it really too painful to think of anything else? I find it hard to believe you didn’t like even one other show. Maybe next time have some more to this rather than CASTLE IS WONDERFUL OMG CASTLE CASTLE CASTLE something else CASTLE CASTLE

  61. NimraNT on July 14th, 2012 8:26 pm

I soo MUCH admire STANA KATIC !
she soo much deserved it ! nd CASTLE was a gr8 show to watch !
BEST COUPLE SHOULD HAVE GONE TO KATE ND CASTLE THEY DESERVED IT !

  62. c.a.thompson on July 19th, 2012 12:43 pm

stana katic is the most beatiful women i have seen since lanta turner that makes me 76 years old

  63. Bibi on July 21st, 2012 2:46 pm

GOD im SO happy for Klaine , they deserve it !!! they are the best couple ever !!! yaaay glee 😀 , And I also agree about the two others nominations about Glee.. this season was a huge joke , and every fans ( true fans ) knows that !!

  64. Olinka on July 25th, 2012 10:38 pm

Glad to see Kurt and Blaine getting the best TV couple award. It’s well deserved and meaningful, as a step toward eliminating homophobia and gay bushing. Also, I have to agree with Glee Season 3 being the worst finale. It was extremely disappointing, and the plot twists seemed to come out of nowhere and simply didn’t make any sense. The entire last episode left me confused (Santana leaving for NY out of the blue, why??) , annoyed (song choices overall, the entire Glee club showing up at the train station for Rachel – she was only leaving for a couple of days to check appts in NY!!!) and upset (Kurt’s rejection letter and subsequent zero reaction from Blaine and Burt; Brittany’s 0.0 GPA and nobody, no even Santana taking it seriously). I am not going to stop watching Glee, but I sincerely hope that the show will get better. Finchel is not great, but okay as long as other characters are being featured as well, but this doesn’t appear to be the case…

  65. lynn on August 14th, 2012 9:39 pm

I just started watching Castle last year because some friends told me about it. I went right out and got the whole series after that.!!

The acting, especially Katic…is superb…the writing terrific and the story lines well thought out. And the main thing…the chemistry between the two leads is terrific and not taken down to the level of a 16 year old kid. It is progressing in a really warm mature and might I say adult manner. The entire cast is great.

  66. sdjoyce on August 15th, 2012 5:40 pm

What “lynn” said. Just started watching Castle last year, bought all series save for #4, as I can still access on huluplus, but will. Love this cast, the writers, and directors for the honest portrayals, and the honest, mature, thorns-and-all approach to relationships. So refreshing. Kudos to all responsible for putting such a grown-up show on air, and keeping it on. Nathan and Stana are both absolutely brilliant in their respective characters, as is the entire cast of regulars (miss Montgomery). Everyone of them has a total grasp of who they are in their parts and we, as an audience, appreciate it. May they entertain and delight us for a very long time. A shout out to casting for their stand-out feature actors (only one stinko in four seasons, I call that a major win). Intelligence and inexhaustible talent exhibited on all fronts with this show. Hard to beat and so fun to watch.
    Thank you all.
