Comments Off on PERCEPTION: Eric McCormack and Rachael Leigh Cook Preview Their New TNT Series
TNT debuts its newest crime-solving show tonight, and due to them wanting to keep a few key elements of the show a secret until the show premieres, we’re going to have to be a little bit vague about what we say about the series.
Here’s what we can tell you about the new Eric McCormack series: McCormack plays Dr. Daniel Pierce, a neuroscience professor who is recruited by his former student, Kate Moretti (played by Rachael Leigh Cook), to assist in FBI cases. Daniel has a mental illness that both makes him a useful (and important) asset to solving these crimes, but that can also make him an incredibly loose cannon.
Give Me My Remote visited the set of PERCEPTION, where McCormack and Cook sat down with reporters to talk about their new show…

Mondays got a little bit busier — and a little bit better — as TNT starts off the final batch of THE CLOSER episodes and debuts the new series PERCEPTION.
Take a look at all of your options for tonight!
The Bachelorette | 8pm on ABC
“Episode 809”
Romantic adventures await Emily and the final three bachelors – Arie, Jef and Sean – as they travel to the tropical paradise of Curacao with the impending possibility of intimate overnight dates. There’s electricity and passion in the air during of these sand and surf excursions, as Emily continues to explore what her future would be like with each one of these potential partners. She is faced with extending an invitation to each bachelor to spend the night in a “fantasy suite.” However will this single mom trade her conscience in exchange for much needed private time with her bachelors?
Hell’s Kitchen | 8pm on Fox
“10 Chefs Compete”
Chef Ramsay once again pits the Blue Team against the Red Team in a high-stakes culinary challenge that forces the chefs to think on their feet. As he whittles down the playing field, Chef Ramsay adds to the intensity by inviting three very special diners to dinner service. Tune in to see who gives their special guests the VIP treatment and who chokes under the pressure.
Fear Factor | 9pm on NBC
“Leeches & Shaved Heads & Tear Gas, Oh My! – Part 1”
Contestants must put on a brave face when they are pushed to their limits in hopes of winning $100,000. In the first stunt, contestants are ripped off a cliff’s edge and sent hurtling into space on a bungee line attached to a helicopter 500 feet away. Highlights from subsequent stunts include contestants being submerged in a tub full of leeches before having to consume 10 leeches; teammates working their way up a five-story building engulfed in flames, before being rocketed off the roof in an enormous explosion; and, teams facing their fears as they are confronted with the challenge of being tear gassed, tattooed or having their head and eyebrows shaved. (Part 1) Joe Rogan hosts.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager | 8pm on ABC Family
“Lies and Byes”
Amy and Ricky’s friends and family want to throw them a wedding reception despite their protests.

Comments Off on Comic-Con 2012: Warner Bros. and GetGlue Team Up For Con-Related Stickers — Check out the FRINGE Sticker Now!
If you’ve been sucked into the world of GetGlue, Comic-Con is going to provide a LOT of opportunities for you to get some unique stickers: Warner Bros. and GetGlue have announced that there will be special stickers for each of the shows highlighted at Comic-Con 2012. And the even better news? If you’re caught up in the panels and forget to check in then, you can still earn the sticker if you check in the day of the panel. (And technically speaking, if you’re not physically at Comic-Con and still want a shiny sticker, you can check in, too.)
As you might have guessed, the FRINGE Comic-Con sticker is showcased on the left side of this post (it’s also a sticker-ized version of the poster that will be handed out at the Con), and there’s no word yet on whether the designs for the other WB stickers will be released pre-Con or if you’ll have to wait until the convention happens to see what they’ll look like.
In case you’ve forgotten which WB shows will be heading to Comic-Con, below is a list of the panels and their GetGlue site where you’ll be able to check in for those stickers…

Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME Casts Jamie Chung As Mulan
ONCE UPON A TIME has added another familiar character to the mix: fresh off the promotions for Meghan Ory (Ruby/Red Riding Hood) and Emilie de Ravin (Belle), an ABC spokesperson confirms the series has cast Jamie Chung to play Chinese warrior, Mulan. (Whose story was also adapted into a Disney movie.)
According to EW — who was first to report the casting news — Chung will recur on the series.
Are you excited about Mulan heading to ONCE UPON A TIME? And who else are you hoping may show up in season 2?
Update: Well, it didn’t take long for another familiar character to make their way to the ABC drama — ABC has confirmed that Sarah Bolger has landed the role of Princess Aurora (AKA Sleeping Beauty). TVLine was first to report the casting.
