HANNIBAL Stages a WONDERFALLS Reunion: Caroline Dhavernas Joins Bryan Fuller’s New Series

Sometimes, truly awesome television reunions go down. And this? This certainly is one of them: NBC confirms that Caroline Dhavernas has joined the cast of HANNIBAL as Dr. Alana Bloom.

What makes this really fantastic for TV geeks is that HANNIBAL is from Bryan Fuller, who also happens to be the man behind the short-lived (but much beloved) Fox series, WONDERFALLS, which just happened to star Dhavernas. (Fuller also broke the casting news by tweeting out a photo of Dhavernas as Jaye, her WONDERFALLS character.)

As for what Dr. Bloom will be up to on HANNIBAL, TVLine says she’s “a psychiatric protege of Hannibal Lecter’s who teaches psychology at Georgetown University and is consulting with the FBI on criminal profiling.” Hm…
