LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT Recruits LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT’s Kathryn Erbe For Guest Spot
August 14, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
For anyone missing LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, here’s some good news for you — NBC has confirmed that Kathryn Erbe will be reprising her role of Alexandra Eames for a guest spot on fellow L& O spinoff, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, this fall.
According to TVLine, Erbe’s Eames is currently working for a joint City/Federal Homeland Security Task Force, and “crosses paths with the SVU squad when their investigation of a sex trafficking ring uncovers a connection to terrorists.” (So it seems things have changed for her character a bit since CRIMINAL INTENT went off the air last year.)
While nothing is official about when Erbe’s episode will air, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT showrunner Warren Leight tweeted that he thinks it will be the season’s fourth hour (which is tentatively set to air October 17th).
