CASTLE’s Stana Katic on Beckett’s New Relationship: ‘Her Heart is at Stake With This Guy’
September 22, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
CASTLE’s Castle and Beckett may have finally consummated their relationship after spending four seasons dancing around their feelings for each other, but their fans aren’t the only ones thrilled to see what happens next.
“It’s exciting,” Stana Katic (Beckett) told me. “We’ve always seen Beckett on these peripheral viewpoints when it came to her relationships. I think that it’s nice to see what it means to be that character from the inside of that relationship. I think there’s a different quality to the character when she’s vulnerable and involved physically and on a deeper emotional level with someone. So it’s nice. It’s been really quite a lot of fun to play.”
“At this point, we’re actually watching these two figure out what it means to be in a relationship with each other,” she continued. “And it is different, definitely. She’s sensual and sensitive and strong-willed and all of those subtle elements we’ve seen on-screen before, but it’s amplified because there’s more at stake. Her heart is at stake with this guy.”
As if that wasn’t enough for Beckett, the hunt for the person responsible for her mother’s death heats up. And while Katic downplayed that this specific bit of information may change her character, she noted her character has evolved over the course of the show.

It may be the weekend, but that doesn’t stop you guys from wanting BONES scoop, right? (That’s what I thought.)
I had the chance to screen Monday’s brand new episode, “The Partners in the Divorce,” and when I put out the call on Twitter for some questions about the hour, you delivered.
As per usual, the point of this is never to completely spoil what happens. That means plenty of teasing, but the intention is not to ruin your enjoyment of the hour. But hopefully you’ll still enjoy these teases…
Nat Faxon and Echo Kellum Talk About Hosting Big Brothers Big Sisters on the Set of BEN AND KATE

The stars of BEN AND KATE were joined on set by some very special visitors this past Friday — the kids from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles.
The kids were taken on a tour of the set by series stars Nat Faxon (Ben) and Echo Kellum (Tommy), before settling down and having an informal Q&A (where they were joined by BEN AND KATE creator Dana Fox). And while, admittedly, the Television Critics Association and other “official” panels can be a little more uptight, these kids had no problems asking the hard questions: digging to find out whether the food/drinks/darts on set were real, if the guys had to put on makeup, and if that was really their natural hair. (It was adorable.)
After the grilling, I spoke with Faxon and Kellum about the experience…

Think you’re the only one who wants to get your hands on our Fringe team? Think again.
In the latest viral video to promote FRINGE’s upcoming fifth (and final) season, it seems the Observers have deemed poor Astrid a security threat. Well, I suppose we should be thankful they’re using her given name versus any of Walter’s many nicknames, right?

FRINGE Season 5 Premiere: ‘Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11’ You Ask, I Answer

The upcoming end of FRINGE is getting a little more real.
Sure, we’ve known for months the series is concluding (heck, we’ve had the final Comic-Con and TCA panels, the cast has been emotional about it, etc.), but when it came time for me to start watching the show’s fifth season premiere — the last season premiere the series will ever have — I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me a little emotional.
But you guys want to know what’s happening on the show, right? I took some of your questions from Twitter and am going to do my best to answer them. That means plenty of teasing, but the intention is not to ruin your enjoyment of the hour, so I couldn’t answer some of the very specific/spoilery questions you had. But hopefully you’ll still enjoy these teases…

FRINGE’s Lance Reddick: Broyles is Trying to Make the Best Out of a Terrible Situation
September 21, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
When FRINGE picks up in 2036, there will be a lot of changes to adjust to — Olivia is MIA (though, admittedly, won’t be gone for too long); Etta, Peter and Olivia’s grown daughter, has been kicking some butt while her parents were otherwise disposed; and possibly most disturbingly, Broyles has been forced to work with the Observers.
However, with our Fringe team back in the mix (thanks to Etta working tirelessly to get her father, grandfather and Astrid deamberized in “Letters of Transit”), what will that mean for Broyles when he comes face-to-face with his former coworkers?
I sat down with Lance Reddick (Broyles) to talk about that, the “more serialized” nature of season, what Broyles was thinking when he found that Red Vine in 4×19, and more…

RAISING HOPE is getting quite the guest star infusion in their third season premiere, “Not Indecent, But Not Quite Decent Enough Proposal,” as Sabrina’s mother, Tamara (played by Melanie Griffith), and her grandmother, Nana (played by Tippi Hedren), make their debuts.
Unfortunately, their introduction to the series is due to Nana’s death, but you just know putting our RAISING HOPE characters at a funeral will bring all sorts of shenanigans.
