THE X FACTOR: Simon Cowell Admits There May Be Some Boot Camp Mistakes

Last season on THE X FACTOR, Simon Cowell shocked viewers when he released early frontrunner Melanie Amaro from the competition during the boot camp round. Thankfully, he realized his mistake and invited her back to the series — only to have her win the entire competition.

With that knowledge — and boot camp kicking off this week on THE X FACTOR — I spoke with Cowell about whether that impacted his views this time around and whether he might have made a similar mistake again…
