SCANDAL Post-Mortem: Kerry Washington and Joshua Malina Tease What Comes Next

[Warning: This post contains spoilers for the SCANDAL episode, “The Other Woman.” If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it now and then come back to see what Kerry Washington and Joshua Malina had to say about what’s next.]
Do you think you have an idea where this Quinn Perkins story is going? Think again.
Thursday’s episode, “The Other Woman,” revealed that Olivia was working with at least one high-powered person (Justice Thornton) in order to keep Quinn free…because Quinn could “bring down this government.”
Uhh, say what now?!
“You have no idea yet what’s going on with the Quinn Perkins storyline,” Kerry Washington (Olivia) told reporters after we viewed the episode. “I don’t even know everything, but I have four episodes on you and you have no idea [what’s coming].”
Indeed, things are going to get crazy over the next few weeks.
“Our show doesn’t work in one big reveal,” Washington said. “I think what’s so fun about the show is all the twists and turns. As soon as you feel you have your mind wrapped around something, the writers remind you that you’re not in charge. It’s really fun for us!”
One of the fun twists that occurred in this episode? David has channeled in inner obsessive personality (or his inner Carrie from HOMELAND) and has constructed a wall of crazy to figure out what Olivia (and Quinn) are up to.
“The next few episodes, [David] gets close, but in Shondaland and in SCANDAL land, particularly, every time you answer a question, two new questions come up,” Joshua Malina (David) teased. “So you’re one step closer, but [then it’s like,] oh, wait a minute, now I realized there are five more steps to the thing than I realized. As you get closer, you realize the picture gets bigger and bigger and bigger. So I definitely start to hone in on some big information, but there definitely is a sense a lot more is coming.”
Which, of course, could be a little scary for the newly-minted series regular.
“Every time I get an episode, I go right to the end, I look to the very final reference to David, [to see] whether it is David gets two to the back of the head, or David falls down an elevator shaft,” Malina joked. “[There’s] a great amount of concern! We had a table read recently where I said, ‘I’m done pursuing this. I’m done. I don’t need to know how it works.’ But the writers don’t seem to take that into account every time I get a new script, David is not done. I have no say. I think on every Shonda [Rhimes] show, you have to enjoy every day as if it’s your last.”

I think that what you posted was actually very logical.
However, what about this? what if you were to write
a killer headline? I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your website, but suppose you added a headline that grabbed folk’s
