ABC Orders Full Seasons of SCANDAL and THE NEIGHBORS
October 29, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
ABC has made its first commitments of the 2012-2013 season: the network has ordered full seasons of sophomore series SCANDAL (which had previously been given a 13-episode season 2 order) and new comedy THE NEIGHBORS.
So far, no word on what the fate of its new dramas will be. 666 PARK AVENUE and LAST RESORT were recently granted an order for additional scripts (NASHVILLE debuted later than the others), but that’s still no guarantee those scripts will be actually filmed. When anything is announced, we’ll let you know.
Are you happy THE NEIGHBORS and SCANDAL will be getting full seasons?

I have to admit I am surprised to hear The Neighbors made it past an episode or two. It just seemed so goofy; I didn’t think viewers would connect. My coworker at DISH agrees it’s odd, but that’s the appeal. He also said Scandal has been great and deserves another season. I’ll have to check it out on my Hopper DVR. It has automatically been recording Scandal and all the other show in prime time from the four major networks without setting individual show timers. I could be wrong, but I doubt The Neighbors will make it to season two.
