Comments Off on SUBURGATORY: Creator Emily Kapnek Teases Season 2
It’s been a long summer, but it’s finally time to return to Chatswin in tonight’s SUBURGATORY season premiere.
“It’s so funny, I’m so excited it feels like Christmas,” SUBURGATORY creator Emily Kapnek told me of working on her show’s second season. “I get up and go to work and I’m so happy and excited. So much of the pressure from season 1 — obviously we have this new time slot [after MODERN FAMILY] and there’s pressure about it — but I really feel like being a returning show and coming back, I feel like everything has gelled and settled. I feel like we know who we are. The writers have a bunch of great scripts coming in. It’s very exciting.”
As for that hour-later time slot, Kapnek said the content of the show shouldn’t change drastically…though she does have a few ideas for ways to shake things up.
“I was jokingly asking [ABC president] Paul [Lee] if we were allowed to do full-frontal at 9:30,” she laughed. “I think there’s a little more leniency with the standards stuff. We certainly have the ability to go there.”

Comments Off on Are Taylor Momsen and Connor Paolo Returning for GOSSIP GIRL’s Series Finale?
As GOSSIP GIRL finishes filming its final episodes of the series, it certainly seems like a few more familiar faces will be returning to the mix.
Earlier today, GOSSIP GIRL star Kelly Rutherford (Lily) tweeted out a photo of former GG stars Taylor Momsen (Jenny) and Connor Paolo (Eric), with the caption, “My kids are grown up!!” A rep for the show had no comment about their possible return.
If Jenny and Eric were to return, what would you like to see them do? Cause trouble? Be there for their family? Attend some sort of special event?
GOSSIP GIRL airs Mondays at 9 PM on The CW.

AMERICAN IDOL runner-up Jessica Sanchez is headed to GLEE, a show spokesperson confirms.
According to TVLine (who was first to report the news), there are no details on who Sanchez will play or when she’ll first show up, but she is set to recur on the Fox series.
While the easy answer for her character would have her be the lead singer of another show choir or magically wind up in New Directions, I hope the show surprises us and does something different. (Ingenue at NYADA? New Cheerio?)
Are you excited for Sanchez on GLEE?
