HANNIBAL’s Laurence Fishburne (Jack) is going to have a familiar face playing his character’s on-screen wife — Fisburne’s real-life wife of a decade, Gina Torres!
NBC confirms Torres (who may be familiar to TV fans from her roles in SUITS, ALIAS, and FIREFLY) will appear on the show, but as of now, there’s no info on what her character’s name is or when she’ll first pop up. TVLine was first to report the casting.
In addition to Torres’ relationship with Fishburne, she’s also worked with HANNIBAL creator Bryan Fuller before in a second season episode of his former show, PUSHING DAISIES.
Are you excited to see what Torres brings to HANNIBAL?

FRINGE Exclusive: J.H. Wyman Shares Episode 7’s Title

In case you’ve doubted the usefulness of Twitter, clearly you’re not following FRINGE showrunner J.H. Wyman. Earlier today, he tweeted out the episode title for the sixth hour of the final season (“Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found There,” in case you missed that nugget), so when he and I got on the phone this afternoon, I couldn’t resist asking what episode seven would be called.

There may not be a new episode of BONES tonight, but you guys won’t object to a little dish about what’s to come, right? (That’s what I thought.)
I caught up with Carla Gallo (Daisy) at the premiere carpet for AMERICAN HORROR STORY season 2, and fresh off her character’s split with Sweets, we had a lot to talk about.
Take a look at the video below to see her thoughts on the latest “Swaisy” collapse, how she found out about Sweets’ kiss with another woman, when she’ll return, and more…

Comments Off on GOSSIP GIRL: Sara Goodman Talks Nate’s Quest for Gossip Girl, Rufus and Ivy, and More
We’ve got a brand new episode of GOSSIP GIRL tonight, and things are crazier than ever for our favorite Upper East Siders. So what are these crazy kids up to?
While a new romance will occupy Nate for a bit, there is still his lingering desire to unmask Gossip Girl. And according to executive producer Sara Goodman, that won’t be going away anytime soon.
“At the end of the first episode, he obviously traded that [information] for Serena,” she noted. “And Nate, of all the things we love Nate for, Nate is a man of his word. But the Gossip Girl [quest] is not quite over, yet. There will be something in the season about it.”
CASTLE: Andrew Marlowe on Castle and Beckett Heading to the Hamptons, Episode 100, and More

In tonight’s brand new episode of CASTLE, the ruggedly handsome writer takes Beckett out to the Hamptons for a little R&R. Unfortunately for them, the relaxation comes to a premature stop when the duo get mixed up in a case.
To get a little tease of what’s to come, I talked with CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe about tonight’s hour, “Murder, He Wrote,” the upcoming 100th episode, the documentary episode, and more…

GLEE is off for a few weeks thanks to baseball and election coverage, but how about a little tease about what’s to come?
I caught up with GLEE star Alex Newell (Unique) over the weekend at the premiere for AMERICAN HORROR STORY’s season 2 kick off (where he was there to support his GLEE boss Ryan Murphy), and we talked about the show’s upcoming GREASE production, why he’s hoping Unique gets a man, and about the blossoming friendship fans can look forward to.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: Joseph Fiennes Teases Season 2

For as little as the AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM (AKA AMERICAN HORROR STORY season 2) cast can say about what’s to come, I can say even less. The first two episodes are so filled with “WTF did I just see?!” moments that to spill too much would be unfortunate.
So instead ruining things for you guys, I asked the cast at the premiere party to tease what they can about the show. First up? Joseph Fiennes (Monsignor Timothy Howard)…

Baseball is keeping scripted shows off of Fox, but we have a fairly full night of TV otherwise.
Take a look at all of your options for tonight…
The Voice | 8pm on NBC

The “battle rounds” continue and the coaches enlist the help of the music industry’s top recording artists to offer their knowledge and skill as advisers. Christina Aguilera teams up with Billie Joe Armstrong, Adam Levine with Mary J. Blige, CeeLo Green with Rob Thomas, and Blake Shelton with Michael Buble. In this phase the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other in a dueling duet. After the vocal face-off, each coach must choose which artist from their team is the strongest and in a new twist, also has the option of stealing losing artists from an opposing coach. Each coach has two steals during the battle rounds where their artists will proceed to the new knockout rounds.

Naomi and Max’s honeymoon plans are put on hold after Alec informs Max that his whirlwind wedding has caused a public relations problem and lowered their tech company’s stock price. Naomi decides to throw a high-class reception to reassure Max’s investors that their marriage isn’t a cause for concern. Adrianna discovers that club promoter Taylor, her one-night stand from Las Vegas, is partnering with Liam and Navid to re-launch The Offshore. Adrianna insists that their fling was a one-time thing, but Taylor suspects she has deeper feelings. At physical therapy, Annie and Dixon encounter fellow patient, Riley, who warns Annie to stop babying Dixon so he can learn how to manage on his own. At home, Dixon explodes on Annie and tells her that he’s tired of her help. Liam offers to buy out Vanessa’s portion of his movie contract, but Vanessa blackmails Liam to be her boyfriend again by threatening to show the police hidden camera footage of Liam. Silver invites Liam to be her date at Naomi’s reception, but gets a surprising answer. Liam confronts Vanessa after the reception, but their argument is cut short by a shocking accident.

PERSON OF INTEREST: LOST’s Mark Pellegrino to Guest Star

We have another LOST reunion heading to PERSON OF INTEREST — Mark Pellegrino (Jacob, on the ABC series) will guest star on an upcoming episode of PERSON OF INTEREST, it was announced Saturday at New York Comic-Con.
According to a statement from Warner Bros., Pellegrino is set to play “an edgy and charming head of a popular publishing empire.” Who is hoping that puts him squarely in the path of his former LOST costar Michael Emerson (Finch on the CBS series)?
In case you can’t wait, we do have a photo of Pellegrino interacting with Jim Caviezel (Reese) in the episode… Read more

Bryan Fuller’s MOCKINGBIRD LANE, an adaptation of the classic series THE MUNSTERS, hits our television screens Friday, October 26th at 8 PM on NBC, and honestly, this trailer just makes me giddy.

I still constantly miss PUSHING DAISIES, so this looks like it could be a lovely cousin (or something along those lines) of my beloved fallen series.

FRINGE Recap: ‘The Recordist’
October 13, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
I’m so very curious to hear what you guys thought of Friday’s episode of FRINGE, “The Recordist,” because I can’t remember a time when a non-myth heavy/season finale hour of the show split my friends so much in terms of how they felt about it.
As for me, I fall somewhere in the middle. I enjoyed the first two episodes more, I appreciated they moved the plot forward slightly in the episode (and it once again emphasized that they’re not telling this story the way most network shows are told), but there were a couple of fantastic scenes that really stood out to me.
So instead of doing a regular recap, I really wanted to shine the light on two particular scenes…and what they might mean for the series going forward.

It’s been nearly eight long months, but THE WALKING DEAD is finally back this Sunday.
“Everything you like about the show is ramped up in season 3,” THE WALKING DEAD executive producer (and creator of the comics) Robert Kirkman told me last month at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
So what can you expect from the upcoming season? Take a look at the video where Kirkman teases the “strongest villain we’ve had on the show thus far,” and why, yep, you should be expecting more death…
