FRIENDS on Blu-Ray: Exclusive First Look at ‘The Cultural Influence of FRIENDS’

For most FRIENDS viewers, odds are you can point to at least one aspect of the show you’ve integrated into your life: a quote, a philosophy, a mannerism, a style, etc. (Personally? It’s eight-plus years since the show went off the air and not only do I watch reruns every day — yes, I’m aware I have a slight addiction to the show — but I also quote it all the time. Apologies if you’re subjected to that on Twitter.) And when FRIENDS: The Complete Series comes out on Blu-Ray a week from today, one of the brand new documentaries on it will examine the impact the comedy had our culture as a large.

i don’t think there’s any show out there who can top this.. And there’s none of the show out there that u can watch more than 5 rerun per episodes without being bored.i watch rerun of friends more than 30 times per episode and amazingly i never get bored.

FRIENDS is my absolute favorite show. i have had the Monica open door apt for years. everyone had a key, but the door was always open. lol FRIENDS is family to me, cuz most of my relationships can relate. I like Rachel had a baby w one of my best friends, and like Erica i also gave my baby to people who couldnt conceive like Monica and Chandler. I guess the show means so much cuz it got me through a rough time in my life and ive had friends that have the same characteristics as the whole cast. Love the show, and i WILL be owning the whole collection @ some point. I’LL BE THERE FOR YOU, CUZ YOU’RE THERE FOR ME TOO!!!

Hi! Mi name is Mariana, and I´m from Argentina. I´m 27 and I grew up watching Friends. As the writer of this article, I still watch the reruns daily. I´m an absolute fan!! I think that my way of relating with my friends comes enterly from my identification with the characters of the show. It´s amazing to realice that daily when I´m with them -specially with my girlfriends- or when I´m watching the episodes, and the situations I´m seeing equals some I live in my daily/real life. I´m a total coffee addict also, and I love collecting mugs and using those huge ones like the ones present in the show. I love going with my friends and boyfriend to coffee-shops where you can sit on a sofa and the employees now your name!! In adition, when I was 15 I painted my bedroon in Monica´s apartment purple colour. 🙂 love, love, love the show! Is part of my life and who I am. 😉
FRIENDS , I just love that show the way I love my self I am huge fan , I speciality went to Warner brother’s tours to seat on that couch in Studio LA . I have seen 10 series 19 times so far .I copies there dialogues to create humor in my life and people around me . Very ad dictated to the show . I love 6 of them the most Racheal . I am very exited about the blu rays.
