Comments Off on Fox Officially Sets FRINGE’s Series Finale Date
Leave it to FRINGE to zig when you expect it to zag, even when it comes to its own series finale date.
Originally, Fox Chairman of Entertainment, Kevin Reilly told reporters at summer Television Critics Association that the series finale for FRINGE would air in January of 2013. A little over a month later, FRINGE showrunner J.H. Wyman tweeted that the show’s final hour would actually air on February 1, 2013. But now, things have changed.
Fox Cuts Order of Midseason Series THE GOODWIN GAMES

Comments Off on Fox Cuts Order of Midseason Series THE GOODWIN GAMES
When Fox released their midseason lineup last month, the new Becki Newton/Scott Foley comedy, THE GOODWIN GAMES was missing from the schedule. While there’s still no premiere date for the series (which is from the writers of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER), Fox has confirmed reports that the episode order has been decreased from 13 to 7.
A rep for the show cited the full season pick ups of BEN AND KATE and THE MINDY PROJECT as a reason the network will need less episodes from THE GOODWIN GAMES going forward. (THE MINDY PROJECT and NEW GIRL also both received additional installment orders last month.)
Are you bummed THE GOODWIN GAMES is getting less episodes than planned? Or are you just hoping it gets a premiere date soon?

FRINGE: J.H. Wyman on ‘An Origin Story,’ Olivia’s Memories, Bell, Donald, and More

We’re approaching another FRINGE Friday, but this one may be a little more bittersweet than most: following the death of Etta, it sure seems like Peter and Olivia will (understandably) be taking this loss incredibly hard. But there’s still a war to fight and nine more episodes to do it in.
To get a little more insight into what’s to come, I sought out FRINGE showrunner J.H. Wyman. The interview was conducted before Etta’s death, so there aren’t any questions specifically relating to that. However, in hindsight, his answers on the topic of Simon’s fate could shed some light into some of the (possible) reasoning for Etta’s death: “…that’s what we really wanted to get across: that the Observers are not messing around.”
Take a look at more from Wyman, including his teases about “An Origin Story,” Olivia’s memories, Bell, Donald, and more…
FRINGE: ‘Etta/Resist’ Promo

“I’m not worried about being destroyed. It’s the Observers who should be worried.”
Oh, Peter.
As you can see, things aren’t going to be exactly happy on FRINGE’s brand new episode tomorrow. While Peter and Olivia struggle with the loss of Etta, it seems like their grief is taking them down two different paths.
Take a look at the “Etta/Resist”…
