FRINGE: John Noble Teases a ‘Beautiful Ending’ to the Walter/Peter Relationship
December 7, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
As FRINGE winds down, one of the most complex relationships the series has been nurturing — the father-son dynamic between Walter and Peter — is on shaky ground: as Peter continues to morph into an Observer, Walter is blissfully unaware, still depending on his son to be his saving grace.
So what will Walter do when he finds out the truth? I spoke with FRINGE star John Noble (Walter) to see what’s to come for our Bishop boys, and why the finale will keep you on the edge of your set…

I guess I’m less worried about a “beautiful” and satisfying ending now, but if we get 6 more episodes of dark, heart breaking, gut wrenching story and only get maybe 5 minutes of happiness, I’m not sure what I’ll think. Maybe the last 20 minutes will be happy and that will be enough.
Just wish they had some more moments of happiness and hope sprinkled in.
