FRINGE: John Noble Teases ‘Black Blotter’

December 11, 2012 by

In FRINGE’s second, third, and fourth season, episode 19 marked an hour that was “a little off the beaten path.” I mean, how else could the show do a musical noir, animated installment, or an episode that jumped more than two decades into the future? Sadly, since the fifth and final season of FRINGE will only consist of 13 episodes, the series won’t reach that annual tradition…but executive producer J.H. Wyman did tease that this week’s episode is what comes the closest.

When I spoke with FRINGE star John Noble (Walter) at the Fox show’s 100th episode/series finale event, he teased a little bit about what you can expect from “Black Blotter”…

I can’t wait to see what the Fringe crew has in store for Friday’s episode. I can’t believe we’re down to the last five of the series. My coworker at DISH and I are interested in seeing Walter on LSD though, that’ll be interesting. I’ve been catching the show on my DISH Hopper so I can re-watch my favorite episodes after the series finale. It has PrimeTime Anytime which will automatically record the four major networks during prime time. I can catch Fringe without having to think about setting a bunch of individual show timers. I can’t wait to see what happens now that Peter has taken out his Observer chip.
