ARROW is once again tapping into the sci-fi universe to find its latest guest star: a rep for the series confirms that former FRINGE star Seth Gabel will appear on the CW freshman series as Vertigo.
According to TVLine (who was first to report the news), the Vertigo character on ARROW will be different than the version first seen in the comics.
Gabel — who was last seen in the season 4 FRINGE installment “Worlds Apart” — is scheduled to first appear on the series in early 2013.
Are you excited about Gabel joining ARROW?

BONES Recap: ‘The Patriot in Purgatory’
November 12, 2012 by Sarah Curtis
Hello, BONES fans! How did you like this episode, “The Patriot in Purgatory”? There was so much passion poured into the ep — from the writing and acting to the setting and score, and it really worked. When any show’s episode is driven by a definite plot (vs. character), it risks pushing the characters into the plot’s mold. This episode, centered around 9/11, straddled that line, and also tugged at the heartstrings. I loved this episode; veterans affairs is one of my passions, and I was moved to tears many times. But the show wanted that to happen, using tearful soliloquies and swelling music. Sometimes I resent that sort of deliberate emotionalism, but BONES has a way of keeping manipulation at bay with a mostly fresh take and an underlying genuineness, and major kudos to the actors for that.
Let’s discuss!

The top 12 contestants on THE VOICE have been chosen, and for at least one contestant, the reality of it all is just starting to sink in.
“Yeah, it’s beginning to get in my head,” Team CeeLo’s Trevin Hunte told me at the top 12 party last week. “I feel like I’m still trying to digest the fact that I made it to the top 12. I feel like it was the longest wait of my entire life [on stage as they were announcing finalists]. I was super excited to be there.”

Thanks in part to Booth’s military background, BONES is no stranger to stories about vets and what happens when they come home. But this Monday’s episode, “The Patriot in Purgatory,” dives deeper to the subject than ever, while also touching on the subject of 9/11 and what that horrific event meant to the characters we know and love.
