FRINGE: J.H. Wyman on ‘An Origin Story,’ Olivia’s Memories, Bell, Donald, and More

We’re approaching another FRINGE Friday, but this one may be a little more bittersweet than most: following the death of Etta, it sure seems like Peter and Olivia will (understandably) be taking this loss incredibly hard. But there’s still a war to fight and nine more episodes to do it in.
To get a little more insight into what’s to come, I sought out FRINGE showrunner J.H. Wyman. The interview was conducted before Etta’s death, so there aren’t any questions specifically relating to that. However, in hindsight, his answers on the topic of Simon’s fate could shed some light into some of the (possible) reasoning for Etta’s death: “…that’s what we really wanted to get across: that the Observers are not messing around.”
Take a look at more from Wyman, including his teases about “An Origin Story,” Olivia’s memories, Bell, Donald, and more…

“I’m not worried about being destroyed. It’s the Observers who should be worried.”
Oh, Peter.
As you can see, things aren’t going to be exactly happy on FRINGE’s brand new episode tomorrow. While Peter and Olivia struggle with the loss of Etta, it seems like their grief is taking them down two different paths.
Take a look at the “Etta/Resist”…

Tonight’s the big night on SUBURGATORY: George and Dallas have their first date!

Oliver Queen’s secret is out.
On last week’s ARROW, Oliver was forced to bring his bodyguard, Diggle, to the lair where he’s been conducting his Arrow business in order to administer the proper antidote to the poisoned bullet D had been shot with. And in the closing moments of the episode, Diggle regained consciousness and saw what Oliver has really been doing every time he ditches him.
So what’s next?
I spoke with ARROW’s David Ramsey (Diggle) about what that knowledge will do to the show, how it will change the relationship between Oliver and Diggle, and more…

After the crushing blow the FRINGE team was dealt in “The Bullet That Saved the World,” you wouldn’t really be able to tell how off things were with them just by the photos from “An Origin Story.” In fact, things seem almost…normal. (If you ignoring Etta’s glaring absence, obviously.)

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Felicia Day is Returning!
It seems SUPERNATURAL’s Charlie couldn’t avoid Sam and Dean forever: a rep for the show has confirmed that Felicia Day (Charlie) will appear in this season’s 11th episode, “LARP and the Real Girl.”
For those who may have missed Day’s first appearance on the series, Charlie first appeared in season 7’s “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo,” as the Winchester brothers found her (inadvertently) tangled up with Dick Roman thanks to her job as an I.T. expert. They were able to save her, but she requested they leave her alone going forward.
Day broke the news of her return to SUPERNATURAL on Twitter, first by posting a photo of her trailer on the set, and then writing “You guessed right!!! What better place to be on Halloween than on the set of #Supernatural? Charlie’s back! :)”
Are you excited to see what kind of shenanigans Charlie will be up to now?
SUPERNATURAL airs Wednesdays at 9 PM on The CW.

While it makes sense GLEE would tackle the Psy song, “Gangnam Style,” choosing the dance-heavy number for Sectionals seems a bit risky for the kids of New Directions.
But if you need a dose of GLEE in your life, take a look at a bit of their rehearsal for the number, courtesy of Fox…

When a comedy pilot is delightful, there’s always the question about whether the quality can be sustained or if it’s a one-time fluke.

With NBC pulling their scheduled episodes of GO ON and THE NEW NORMAL tonight for a special on Hurricane Sandy, ABC has now joined the mix and pulled their planned episode of PRIVATE PRACTICE.
“Just got word that PP will not air tonight due to specials news coverage of Sandy,” PRIVATE PRACTICE creator Shonda Rhimes tweeted earlier today.
And due to the upcoming election, that will push tonight’s scheduled episode back two weeks: “The PP episode will air AFTER the election in two weeks!”
