Comments Off on THE SIMPSONS: Al Jean Talks About His Favorite ‘Treehouse of Horror’ Segments, Plus Previews the 2013 Edition
For THE SIMPSONS fans, Halloween comes a bit earlier than usual this year, as the annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode airs this Sunday on Fox.
When I sat down with THE SIMPSONS executive producer Al Jean recently, he teased quite a bit about what viewers can expect from this year’s installment. So instead of rehashing that when we spoke again at a pumpkin patch Fox took over for their Animation Domination shows, we talked about some of his favorite past “Treehouse of Horror” installments, and what viewers can expect from the 2013 “Treehouse of Horror” episode…

America’s Next Top Model | 8pm on The CW
“The Girl Who Licks the Floor”
On the way to their Palm Springs destination, the models make three pit stops where they will be challenged to take photos of themselves doing “random acts of modeling.” The winner gets to host her own segment on NYLONTV.COM. Exhausted and grungy from their long day, the girls are caught off guard for a down-and-dirty photo shoot taken at random locations around their kitschy motel.

Comments Off on On the Set of FRINGE: Anna Torv Talks About Olivia’s Relationships with Peter and Etta
Now that Olivia is freshly out of amber on FRINGE, the Observers aren’t the only thing she’ll need to battle in 2036 — she’ll also have to figure out how her fractured family will come together again.
As viewers saw in the season premiere, things aren’t so great between Olivia and Peter, her now-estranged husband. And while things started off sweet between mother and daughter, Olivia’s relationship with Etta gets a little rockier this week when the former realizes how little she knows about the world they’re currently living in.
Last week, Anna Torv (Olivia) sat down with reporters and discussed the complex Bishop relationships, what she liked about the season premiere, and more…

Comments Off on SCANDAL: Katie Lowes Teases What Quinn Does Next
We may now know who the heck Quinn Perkins is on SCANDAL, but there is still so much we have yet to learn about who the woman formerly known as Lindsay Dwyer was. But luckily for viewers, we’ll get a little bit of a taste of that in tonight’s brand new episode.
“After figuring out the who is Quinn Perkins in episode one, I think we start to get a little bit into that and her history and who exactly she was before you met her,” Katie Lowes (Quinn/Lindsay) teased to reporters on set yesterday. “And some other people in her life that might have played pivotal roles…before she came to Olivia Pope and Associates.”
FRINGE: 6 Teases About ‘In Absentia’

We only have 12 episodes left in this FRINGE journey, so I’m really hesitant to tease too much about tomorrow night’s brand new episode…but it’s also very fascinating, so I can’t help but want to talk a little bit about it.
So while I didn’t feel it was fair to do a traditional “You Ask, I Answer,” I do have a couple of teasers about “In Absentia”…

Meanwhile, the fifth season of KITCHEN NIGHTMARES will take the slot TOUCH was supposed to occupy.

GLEE: 7 Thoughts/Teases About ‘The Break Up’

Comments Off on GLEE: 7 Thoughts/Teases About ‘The Break Up’
There’s been a lot of buzz about tonight’s episode of GLEE, and as someone who fell in love with this show from the pilot and has (sometimes reluctantly) been along for the ride since, for me, it deserves it all.
“The Break Up,” quite simply, is great. It doesn’t rely on guest-stars or massive stunts to get that way, either. It just takes what we loved about the show from the first season (unlikely relationships that make our heart soar, real problems, and great music) and mixes it all together.
While I absolutely do NOT want to spoil the hour for you, I did have a lot of thoughts about what went down, so I figured I can tease a few things…
FRINGE: Jill Scott to Guest Star

Comments Off on FRINGE: Jill Scott to Guest Star
FRINGE may be well into production of their final season, but we finally have our first guest star report of the year: Fox has confirmed that singer/actress Jill Scott will appear in an upcoming episode of the cult series.
According to EW.com (who was first to report the casting), Scott will play Simone, “an incredibly intuitive woman, an oracle-like person”…whom Olivia seeks out. Hmm.
At this point, I’ll take any good theories about this character. Do you think she’ll push Olivia further with her abilities? Perhaps she has some ties to the Observers? (Or is a different kind of Observer?) Maybe she has info on how to beat the Observers?
Seriously, I’ll take any quasi-plausible theory at this point…
FRINGE airs Fridays at 9 PM on Fox.

While Dean was stuck in purgatory on SUPERNATURAL, Sam made some peace with his brother’s disappearance and moved on with his life. But with Dean returning, Sam is going to be faced with some decisions about what he wants to do with his life.
SUPERNATURAL star Jared Padalecki (Sam) sat down with reporters on set last week and teased Sam’s “steamy” new relationship (and why he initially objected to it), how willing his character is to get back to hunting, where he stands with Dean, and more…

Comments Off on THE X FACTOR: Simon Cowell Admits There May Be Some Boot Camp Mistakes
Last season on THE X FACTOR, Simon Cowell shocked viewers when he released early frontrunner Melanie Amaro from the competition during the boot camp round. Thankfully, he realized his mistake and invited her back to the series — only to have her win the entire competition.
With that knowledge — and boot camp kicking off this week on THE X FACTOR — I spoke with Cowell about whether that impacted his views this time around and whether he might have made a similar mistake again…
SUPERNATURAL: Jensen Ackles Talks About Dean’s Relationships with Sam and Benny
October 3, 2012 by Marisa Roffman
Dean Winchester has been through a lot during SUPERNATURAL’s run, and when he returns from purgatory, his relationship with his brother is once again taking a beating.
“It’s going to take a little bit of time to warm back up to the relationship that he has with Sam,” SUPERNATURAL star Jensen Ackles (Dean) told reporters on the set of the CW series last week.
And that’s not the only change in Dean’s life — he’s also have a new ally, Benny, who is not the kind of creature Dean normally spends his time with.
Take a look at what Ackles had to say about that…and which FRINGE actor he (jokingly) blamed for our interview being cut short…
