With all the fuss over NBC’s new comedy, THE NEW NORMAL (certain stations are refusing to air it, One Million Moms are calling for a boycott, etc.), wouldn’t it make sense to watch the pilot (which is about exploring all the different kinds of family dynamics) before getting upset so you can see what the show is actually about?

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE Sets Hosts and Musical Acts for First 3 Episodes

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is just a few short weeks from returning, and that means it’s time for the reveal of who the first batch of hosts/musical guests will be. Personally, I’m delighted they’re kicking off the season with FAMILY GUY creator Seth MacFarlane, who is not only wickedly hilarious (you saw TED this summer, yes?), but also has musical talent. (Though he’s not the official musical guest — Frank Ocean gets that honor.)

At the end of the hour, only one contestant will be left sitting triumphant to seize the cash prize and the title of OH SIT! champion. The show is hosted by Jamie Kennedy (“The Ghost Whisperer”) and actress/television host Jessi Cruickshank (“MTV Live”). Watch the BEN AND KATE Pilot Now!

One of my favorite things about this time of year is unexpectedly falling for a show you never thought you’d fall for. This season? That show is BEN AND KATE.

It’d be easy to dismiss a show about a quirky family, but there’s something special about these guys: they have heart, their antics are believable and I actually laughed out loud several times during the premiere episode. (Which is a pretty big rarity this season.)

But enough from me. I’m really hoping if you watch the full pilot (below), you’ll see why I love it so much…

RAISING HOPE: Garret Dillahunt on the Major Guest Stars, Season 3, and More

When RAISING HOPE returns for it third season, there are going to be a lot of new and very famous faces joining the show. (In case you’ve missed the news, so far the list of upcoming guest stars includes Melanie Griffith, Tippi Hedren, Wilmer Valderrama, Chris Klein, and Jenny Slate.) GLEE Season 4 Premiere Photos: ‘The New Rachel’

When GLEE kicks off its fourth season on Thursday, September 13th, the show will be split in a way viewers haven’t experienced in the past — with one part set at McKinley High and the other following the recently-graduated seniors.

But what will that look like?

Fox has released the first photos from GLEE’s season premiere, “The New Rachel,” and from them we can tell there are some new faces gracing New Directions, Rachel sings, and Kate Hudson’s Cassandra looks rather sassy.
