The roster of guest stars on RAISING HOPE just keeps expanding — Fox has confirmed that Chris Klein will appear in an upcoming episode of the Fox comedy’s third season.
According to The Hollywood Reporter (who was first to report the casting news), Klein will play Brad, “a local celebrity realtor whom Burt and Virginia reveal to Jimmy is an ‘almost’ long-lost family member.” And knowing the Chances, goodness knows what that could mean.
Are you excited to see what Klein brings to RAISING HOPE?
RAISING HOPE returns Tuesday, October 2nd at 8 PM on Fox.

If you’ve been craving footage from AMERICAN HORROR STORY’s second season, well, unfortunately it seems like you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer.
However, FX has released this absolutely creepy new promo for the show’s sophomore year, and it does succeed in making me want more from this show ASAP, so I’d say that’s a win on their end.
Take a look at the new promo for AHS season 2!

The CW has released key art for their brand new fall series, and boy, it’s a shame these actors aren’t more attractive. (As you can tell from the photos, that was clearly sarcasm. These people are entirely too pretty.)
Take a look at what The CW has done for ARROW, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and EMILY OWENS, M.D…

THE NEXT: Nelly and Gloria Estefan Tease Their New Reality Show

Comments Off on THE NEXT: Nelly and Gloria Estefan Tease Their New Reality Show
With virtually every channel having their own take on a reality singing competition, it does take a bit for a new show to feel really unique. And while on the surface The CW’s THE NEXT has some similar aspects to other shows (singing superstars as mentors, for one), the series is actually quite a bit different from anything that is out there.
For starters, Nelly, Gloria Estefan, Joe Jonas, and John Rich — the mentors on THE NEXT — only have to deal with taking care of their contestants…who moves forward is completely up to the audience. Plus in order to properly prep these singers for their big performance, the mentors spend 72 hours with them, doing whatever is necessary. (Jonas actually goes with his first contestant to her babysitting gig!)
But given their established success, what prompted the singers to join THE NEXT? Nelly and Estefan sat down with reporters to dish on that and more…

It’s so jam-packed with spoilers that it’s almost hard to believe the most gasp-worthy moment of the upcoming season premiere doesn’t even make the cut…

A fairly busy Thursday night. Which show are you most excited for?
Oh Sit! | 8pm on The CW
“Episode 102”
In this fun, high-stakes, high-octane musical chairs competition, 12 thrill-seeking daredevils race head-to-head through five physically demanding, chair-splitting obstacle course-style eliminations as they each compete to claim a chair – all to the sounds of a live band. At the end of the hour, only one contestant will be left sitting triumphant to seize the cash prize and the title of OH SIT! champion. The show is hosted by Jamie Kennedy (“The Ghost Whisperer”) and actress/television host Jessi Cruickshank (“MTV Live”). Adding to the fun, Tanika Ray (“Extra”) will be in the trenches with the contestants both on and off the track, and will add color commentary from the sidelines as the action unfolds.
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, Michael Nunn and Billy Trevitt Talk About Mia Michaels Night, Eliminating Four Dancers

It was a rough night on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE on Wednesday: not only did some of the Mia Michaels 2.0 routines get mixed reactions (at best), but the show also had to say goodbye to four dancers. So certainly not the most pleasant way for the series to return after a two week hiatus.
After the live show, I spoke with judges Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and guest judges Ballet Boyz (AKA Michael Nunn and Billy Trevitt) about the themed night, saying goodbye to four dancers, and more…

GLEE Season 4 Spoilers – First Look at the New Season

If you’re Gleek, then you have to admit that Ryan Murphy has been doing it right on Twitter. From answering viewers questions to releasing GLEE deleted scenes, it’s been a fun few weeks.
Just a few minutes ago, Murphy released the first promo for the new season. It might only be 30 seconds long, but there’s certainly a lot to take in. Kate Hudson ‘schooling’ Rachel Berry. The almost empty choir room. Sue’s new baby. And a laugh out loud one-liner from Brittany…which just so happens to be at the expense of former GLEE PROJECT contestant Alex Newell (does this mean he is on the show for good this season? Hm. Mixed feelings.) The promo also gave us a first listen of GLEE’s new music, courtesy of Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss).
I’m officially excited for Season 4. Are you?

GLEE has had a fair number of guest stars announced for the upcoming fourth season, but one name that has been MIA — so far — is Gloria Estefan, who signed on for an arc as Santana’s mother…and only ended up appearing in the season finale.
Estefan spoke with reporters earlier today while promoting her new singing competition series THE NEXT (which debuts Thursday, August 16th on The CW), and when I questioned whether she’d be back on GLEE, she was quick to reply back, “I sure hope so!” She reiterated that GLEE co-creator Ryan Murphy has expressed that he wanted to do an arc with her until Whitney Houston’s untimely passing led to a shift in the storytelling.
Take a look at the video below as Estefan talks about that, what she’d like to do if she returns to GLEE, why she was happy to not sing in her first episode…
