A very, very, very busy Monday night coming your way, TV fans. Not only do we have three brand new series premiering, but we say goodbye to THE CLOSER.
Take a look at all of your choices for tonight…
Bachelor Pad | 8pm on ABC
“Episode 304”
This week’s challenge gets personal when contestants answer highly controversial questions about each other in pursuit of a rose. Awaiting the winners are the first 1-on-1 dates – one to play ball at Dodger Stadium, the other an action packed movie adventure in downtown LA. In the meantime, drama is high at the house, as girls start fighting over the men they’re coupled with, both strategically and romantically.
Hotel Hell | 8pm on Fox | Series Premiere
“Juniper Hill Inn, Part One”
Award-winning chef and hospitality expert Gordon Ramsay will travel across the country to fix horrid hotels, awful inns and just plain bad bed and breakfasts. The first hotel is Juniper Hill Inn in Windsor, VT. Ramsay checks in to the inn, a place that looks like a million dollars, but smells of raw sewage. He meets the inn’s wealthy and arrogant owner, Robert Dean II, and witnesses Dean’s inexcusable treatment of his staff. [Have you seen what HOTEL HELL producer Adeline Ramage Rooney teased about her new series?]
Stars Earn Stripes | 8pm on NBC | Series Premiere
“Amphibious Assault”
The “Stars Earn Stripes” cast gather at a remote training facility where they are introduced to their partner, a current or former member of a military branch or one of our first-responder forces. The teams are challenged to execute a complicated “mission” inspired by actual military exercises. The two teams with the slowest times will compete against one another in a shoot-out and the winning team will move onto the next round of the competition.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager | 8pm on ABC Family
“Property Not for Sale”
Amy and Ben discuss the status of their relationship.
So much more. Keep reading…
HOTEL HELL Producer Adeline Ramage Rooney Talks About Her New Fox Series

Gordon Ramsay has long been known for his kitchen shows — whether it’s revamping disastrous restaurants or being a part of a competitive cooking series — but now, he’s taking on out-of-control hotels.
But this isn’t just simply showcasing the dirty hotels and the things that will make you want to never leave home again. (A slight concern I had before I watched the show.) The series premiere focuses on an inn where the managers are poorly organized, overprice everything, don’t treat the staff well, and are overall pretentious, so it’s up to Ramsay to set them straight.
Alas, with every new hotel comes a whole new set of issues. I spoke with HOTEL HELL producer Adeline Ramage Rooney earlier today at an event promoting her series about what viewers can expect to see, which hotel bothered her the most, and more…

As someone who is slightly obsessed with Paley Center’s TV Out of the Box Exhibit, I always delight when new things are added. Sure, every time I go in I am still drawn to the massive FRIENDS display that greets me (come on guys, they have the turkey Joey and Monica put on their heads, Phoebe’s guitar, and so much more), but discovering the new set pieces and costumes that get added is what makes coming back fun. (I’ve gone three times since the exhibit opened in March. I may need an intervention if I keep up this rate.)

Ah, it was only a matter of time until Jake found out about Jenna and Matty, right. And, AWKWARD. fans, did you predict it would eventually be Sadie who spilled the beans? I can’t say I was surprised, but even as it happened, I was groaning with the ironic dread.
Of course, it’s also clear now why, plot-wise, Jenna was sort of dragging her feet regarding Jake. And OF COURSE Matty now actually probably likes Courtney. And OF COURSE Jenna has declared her love for Jake. Because it would just be too easy for the entire love triangle to play out nicely instead of going up in flames.

It’s almost time for television to return, which means it’s nearly time for Paley Center’s annual Fall TV Preview Parties!
While virtually all new shows will have a screening — it looks like ABC’s 666 PARK AVENUE and THE LAST RESORT will be the only fall freshman series not being shown — ABC’s SCANDAL, FOX’s RAISING HOPE and NEW GIRL will be among the returning shows that will be getting showcased.

It’s been a couple days since GLEE co-creator Ryan Murphy last tweeted out deleted scenes, and while there is only one clip this time, the one he released today is likely to make you feel all warm and gooey inside.
It’s no secret Mike Chang has had some difficulty with his parents — specifically his father — but as you can see from the graduation gift they gave him, things are much better for the Chang family…

Has FX found its next great new drama? The network has just ordered THE AMERICANS, starring Keri Russell (FELICITY), Matthew Rhys (BROTHERS & SISTERS) and Noah Emmerich (THE WALKING DEAD).
According to FX’s press release, THE AMERICANS “is a period drama about the complex marriage of two KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington DC shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected President. The arranged marriage of Phillip (Rhys) and Elizabeth Jennings (Russell), who have two children who know nothing about their parents true identity, grows more passionate and genuine by the day, but is constantly tested by the escalation of the Cold War and the intimate, dangerous and darkly funny relationships they must maintain with a network of spies and informants under their control. Complicating their relationship further is Phillip’s growing sense of affinity for America’s values and way of life. Tensions also heighten upon the arrival of a new neighbor, Stan (Emmerich), an FBI agent working in counter intelligence.”

I’m not sure what’s in the water, but August seems to be the month of ’90s teen drama actors reuniting. The DAWSON’S CREEK mini-reunion on APARTMENT 23 had me massively geeking out, but this? What Old Navy has done is equally awesome.
Original BEVERLY HILLS: 90210 stars Jennie Garth, Luke Perry, Jason Priestley, and Gabrielle Carteris appear in three commercial spots for the clothing store and they play up their 90210 personas, whether it’s Carteris’ Andrea still nursing a crush on Priestley’s Brandon, or Garth’s Kelly still deciding between Brandon and Perry’s Dylan.
Take a look at the three spots and vote for your favorite below!

Comments Off on DON’T TRUST THE B—- IN APARTMENT 23: Frankie Muniz and Mark-Paul Gosselaar to Guest Star in the Season Premiere
The season premiere of DON’T TRUST THE B—- IN APARTMENT 23 is getting a little bit more meta: ABC has confirmed that former MALCOLM AND THE MIDDLE star Frankie Muniz and former SAVED BY THE BELL star Mark-Paul Gosselaar will guest star on the ABC comedy’s second season premiere as themselves.
According to EW.com (who was first to report the casting news), the actors appear on APARTMENT 23 as James Van Der Beek (who plays a fictionalized version of himself on the series) attempts to put together a DAWSON’S CREEK reunion. (Van Der Beek’s CREEK costar Busy Philipps has already signed on to appear in the season premiere.)
Are you hoping any other ’90s stars find their way to APARTMENT 23’s season premiere?

Comments Off on BONES’ Stephen Nathan on Why He Likes Pelant, the Challenge of Bringing Brennan Home, and Season 8’s ‘Darker Undertone’
While BONES is no stranger to having serial killers stick around for a bit, it seems like Pelant — who has already driven Brennan to leave Booth and her Jeffersonian friends behind — will be a particular thorn in the team’s side in season 8.
At Comic-Con, BONES executive producer Stephen Nathan shared that Pelant will be sticking around, long after Brennan finds her way back home, which will make things complicated for our guys this year. And while he reiterated that season 8 is the “is love enough?” season, Nathan also teased that it will also have a “darker undertone.”
Take a look at what else Nathan had to tease about what’s coming up on BONES…
