THE SECRET CIRCLE may be gone, but Phoebe Tonkin is sticking around on The CW.
Warner Bros. has confirmed that Tonkin has landed a recurring role on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, which is a multi-layered reunion of sorts for her: not only did THE VAMPIRE DIARIES co-creator Kevin Williamson executive produce THE SECRET CIRCLE, but Tonkin also previously costarred with TVD’s Claire Holt in H2O: JUST ADD WATER.
So who will Tonkin be playing on TVD when she shows up in the third episode of the season?
Happy ‘ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Has Started Filming the Netflix Series’ Day!

Taste the happy, guys!
More than six years after ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT aired its final episode on Fox (and more than four years after series star Jason Bateman teased that a movie could be a possibility), production starts today on brand new episodes of the series. (Have I mentioned lately how much I love Netflix for making these 10 episodes possible? I’ll leave the upcoming movie out of the equation for a moment, but yay for these episodes!)
Given that I’ve long said I wouldn’t totally get my hopes up on this actually coming to fruition until filming actually started, I’m a wee bit excited about today. (I may have spent part of the weekend marathoning the show and then used my spare time going on YouTube to find clips. Allegedly.) But, as you’ll see from the rest of this post, clearly only the normal amount of excited.
While GMMR has had some fun ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT posts in the past (including the top 5 episodes of the series, plus a fun, fan-made trailer of the series as an action movie), in order to properly celebrate what should be a national holiday, I’ve rounded up some of the best moments from the series so we can all enjoy the Bluths together…

For GLEE fans, Ryan Murphy joining Twitter late last month has meant a ton of content to help get through these last few weeks before the series returns with new episodes. The latest in the batch of deleted scenes he’s released? Santana coming out to the Cheerios, and Rachel’s very special yearbook message to Kurt.

Pretty Little Liars | 8pm on ABC Family
“The Kahn Game”
Spencer and Aria find themselves at the Kahn brothers’ party in hopes of saving Spencer’s college career. What originally was going to be a quick stop by to ask a favor of CeCe’s friend turns into an opportunity for Aria and Spencer to get some answers from Jenna with a heated game of “Truth.” But will Aria and Spencer be willing to give up some of their “truths” to get the answers they are looking for? Meanwhile, Hanna gets another text from “A” about Caleb.

If you were hoping to go into the series premiere of NBC’s REVOLUTION spoiler free, for the love of all that is holy and unholy, look away now.
The new J.J. Abrams-produced and Eric Kripke-created series (about life 15 years after the power goes out) isn’t set to debut on Monday, September 17th at 10 PM on NBC, but this new nearly 3 minute trailer does reveal a whole heck of a lot about what goes down in the show’s first hour. (Plus, as a bonus, it’s the first look we get of the recently-added Elizabeth Mitchell to the series.)

It’s official: DON’T TRUST THE B—- IN APARTMENT 23 is hosting a DAWSON’S CREEK reunion.
While much of the talk about potential guest stars for a reunion on the ABC comedy had focused around Joshua Jackson (who professed a desire to appear on the series) or Michelle Williams, it is actually Busy Philipps (Audrey on WB series and currently Laurie on COUGAR TOWN) who is the first former CREEKer to sign on to APARTMENT 23, ABC confirms. (TVGuide.com was first to report the casting.)

Sabrina’s home life is about to get massively interesting on RAISING HOPE.
First, Melanie Griffith signed on to play Sabrina’s mother, Tamara, and then Tippi Hedren (Griffith’s real-life mother) sealed a deal to play Sabrina’s grandmother, Nana. But if that wasn’t crazy enough, Fox has confirmed that former AWAKE star Wilmer Valderrama has booked a multi-episode arc on the Fox comedy as Griffith’s love interest. (EW.com was first to report the casting news.)
There’s no way Sabrina is going to handle this well, right?
RAISING HOPE returns Tuesday, October 2nd at 8 PM on Fox.

ONCE UPON A TIME Casts Michael Raymond-James

Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME Casts Michael Raymond-James
Stop me if you’ve heard this before — ONCE UPON A TIME has added to its season 2 cast. (Yes, this is the second casting post we’ve done for OUAT today.)
ABC has confirmed that former TERRIERS star Michael Raymond-James has landed a spot on the series, but beyond that, details of who he’ll be playing, when he’ll be popping up, etc. are slim. EW.com was first to report the news.
Ideally? Given that Captain Hook was just cast, if his character is someone we already know, I’d love to see him as Mr. Smee. If it’s someone entirely new, I don’t know if I’d rather he play a good or bad guy…
Are you excited to see Raymond-James on OUAT?

Comments Off on GLEE Deleted Scenes: Ryan Murphy Tweets Cut Warblers Song and Rachel/Jesse Duet
Ever feel like scenes are designed to make one specific person happy? Well, after viewing these two deleted GLEE scenes that Ryan Murphy tweeted out today, I’m fairly certain these scenes existed just to make Give Me My Remote owner Kath Skerry squeal with delight.
I mean, a bonus Warblers number (as they sing Michael Jackson)? Rachel and Jesse singing from “A Chorus Line”? Yep, Kath is going to be thrilled. (And hey, I’m not objecting, either.)
Want to join the fun? Take a look at the scenes in question…

For fans of UNFORGETTABLE, the past couple of months have been quite the wild ride.
First, CBS pulled the plug on the drama series. Then — shortly afters rumors swirled that the show might end up on Lifetime or another cable channel — word spread that CBS was looking to pick up the show (again) for a summer run, before it became official nine days later.
Now, with the series all set to go next summer at CBS, I spoke with series star Poppy Montgomery (Carrie) about what this entire experience has been like for her, what she hopes to see for Carrie next season, and what she thinks the format might be like…

Comments Off on THE FOLLOWING: Annie Parisse Joins as a Series Regular
THE FOLLOWING has made an addition to its cast.
With Jeananne Goossen (who played Jennifer Mason in THE FOLLOWING’s pilot) off the series, Annie Parisse will join the Fox drama playing Debra Parker, Warner Bros. has confirmed.
So what exactly will Parker bring to the series? She’s an FBI specialist who is brought in to lead the investigation of cult leader Joe Carroll (played by James Purefoy) and his followers. (She’ll also be working with Kevin Bacon’s Ryan Hardy, who was responsible for capturing Carroll the first time around.) According to EW.com, the character is also “super smart with a good sense of humor, and is not above using her sex appeal if necessary.”
Are you excited to see what Parisse will bring to the series?

Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME Finds Its Captain Hook!
ONCE UPON A TIME fans got a little tease that Captain Hook was coming to the series, and now it’s official — ABC has confirmed that Colin O’Donoghue has landed the pivotal role. The news was first reported by Deadline.
While details are scarce on when Hook will first show up on ONCE UPON A TIME, O’Donoghue is just one of many actors who have joined the drama’s second season: so far, OUAT has made plans for Lancelot (Sinqua Walls), Prince Phillip (Julian Morris), Sleeping Beauty (Sarah Bolger) and Mulan (Jamie Chung) to arrive, as well as bumped Meghan Ory (who plays Ruby/Red) and Emilie de Ravin (who plays Beauty) to series regulars.
Sure seems like season 2 is going to be busy!
ONCE UPON A TIME season 2 premieres Sunday, September 30th at 8 PM.
