The first season of DUETS concluded Thursday night, and for Jennifer Nettles — who managed to keep both of her contestants in the competition up until the final moments of the show — it was a very good night.

After the show, I caught up with Nettles, J Rome, and John Glosson to talk about their very successful run on the series and to find out what’s next…

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE shook up the show format this season and last night was the first time viewers had the chance to see how a performance/elimination show hybrid would work.

Comments Off on GLEE: Lea Michele Teases Season 4

GLEE fans may have been shocked by the season 3 finale that had Rachel heading off to New York (and NYADA) sans Finn, but for her portrayer, the events weren’t entirely unexpected.

“I had an idea, but we really didn’t know until days before shooting,” Lea Michele (Rachel) told reporters at Comic-Con, mentioning that half of the cast didn’t even get the final pages of the script in order to preserve the secret.

And while she did have to keep much of what is to come in season 4 underwraps, she was willing to tease a little bit of what’s ahead for Rachel.

Take a look!

SUPERNATURAL: Jensen Ackles on His Season 8 Directing Turn, Dean’s Storyline, and More

SUPERNATURAL star Jensen Ackles (Dean) has been a very busy man.

Not only did Ackles make the trip down to San Diego last weekend for Comic-Con (from Vancouver, where his series is currently back in production), but he did it while in the middle of directing his third episode of The CW series.

He sat down with reporters after SUPERNATURAL’s panel to reveal why he almost didn’t make it to the convention, what the episode he’s directing is about, Dean’s storyline in season 8, and more…

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: Melanie Moore, Marko Gemar and Nigel Lythgoe Weigh In on All-Star Possibilities

Comments Off on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: Melanie Moore, Marko Gemar and Nigel Lythgoe Weigh In on All-Star Possibilities

With four dancers about to be shown the door tonight on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, let’s focus on something a little less depressing — potential all-star participants for later in the season!

At the taping of the 200th episode, former contestants Marko Gemar and Melanie Moore (last year’s winner!) talked about whether they’d be game to return to the show in an all-star capacity, and I put executive producer/judge Nigel Lythgoe on the hot seat about whether there were any dancers he had in mind to return to the series…

Comments Off on FRINGE: Anna Torv on Olivia’s Reunion with Etta, Focusing on Just One Olivia, and More

After years of being (mostly) kept in the dark about what’s to come on FRINGE, series star Anna Torv (Olivia) in an unusual spot this year: she knows what’s coming up.

“It’s so unfair!” Torv laughed in the FRINGE press room, shortly after executive producer J.H. Wyman’s Comic-Con announcement that he had filled the cast in on where the series was headed. “Usually we’re able to say, ‘I’m sorry, that’s a question for [the producers because we don’t know the answers],’ but now we have to go, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t say.'”

And while Torv didn’t spill any massive spoilers on what’s to come in the upcoming 2036-set season 5, she did share some thoughts about Olivia’s upcoming reunion with Etta, getting to focus on playing one character, the Comic-Con experience, and more…
