ARROW Casts Alex Kingston

Just last week, ARROW executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told me, “I think we have the best guests. We have the best casts on television, and I think we have one of the best guest casts on television.”

And boy, do they ever.

A CW rep has confirmed that former ER (and DOCTOR WHO) actress Alex Kingston has signed on to recur on ARROW. She’ll first appear in episode 16 (“Dead to Rights”), which was written by Geoff Johns.

But who will she be playing?

According to EW.com (who was first to report the news), Kingston will be playing Dinah Lance…AKA Laurel’s MIA mother.

This…is going to get messy, isn’t it?

ARROW airs Wednesdays at 8 PM on The CW.
