Comments Off on SCANDAL: Scott Foley Books Mysterious Role
Scott Foley is reuniting with his former GREY’S ANATOMY boss, Shonda Rhimes: ABC confirms that Foley (who played Henry on the ABC medical series) has landed a role on Rhimes’ newest series, SCANDAL.
According to TVLine (who was first to report the casting), Foley will be a part of a “major arc” towards the end of the season, but no other details about his character are known at this time.
Foley is also a part of the Fox midseason series, THE GOODWIN GAMES, which recently had its order cut. (The airdate on that is still TBD.)
Are you excited to see what Foley brings to SCANDAL?

Hello BONES fans! A long hiatus is not quite so bad when there are two episodes in a row to greet us, right? I liked this one, “The Archaeologist in the Cocoon,” more than “The Diamond in the Rough,” and I’m interested to hear what you think about it too. Let’s discuss!

How about some more FRINGE goodies to finish up your Monday?
When I was up in Vancouver late last year for the 100th episode/series finale press event, I spoke with FRINGE stars Joshua Jackson (Peter), Anna Torv (Olivia), John Noble (Walter), Jasika Nicole (Astrid), and Blair Brown (Nina) about when they felt the real impact of the show’s cultural presence.
Take a look at their answers!
BONES Recap: ‘The Diamond in the Rough’

Hello BONES fans, and welcome to 2013! First of all, congratulations to the show for getting renewed for a ninth season. Good times!
How did you like this episode, “The Diamond in the Rough”? The ‘B&B go undercover’ episodes are historically not my favorites, but I actually thought the Booth & Brennan moments were some of the better parts of this ep, and it was fun to see guest appearances from Fox’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE’s Mary Murphy and Tyce Diorio. Let’s discuss!

To help get us through these final few days, the network has just released little snippets from a fake crime program which details a bit of the history between Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) and Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon), which also includes Bacon doing some interviews in-character.

Nearly nine years after SEX AND THE CITY went off the air, Carrie Bradshaw once again joins the television landscape with the premiere of THE CARRIE DIARIES. (Airing Mondays at 8 PM on The CW.)
This time around, Carrie is in high school, which means viewers will get to experience her discovering Manhattan for the first time, falling in love, making new friends, and mourning the death of her mother, as she and her father and sister adjust to their new live. (And yes, that last one doesn’t exactly line up with the HBO series, where Carrie said her father abandoned the family. However, it does match up with what “The Carrie Diaries” books say.)
I spoke with THE CARRIE DIARIES executive producer Amy B. Harris (who was also a writer on SEX AND THE CITY), about this “new” Carrie, her romances, having an endpoint, and more…

NBC has a new show about dual lives/personalities debuting on Thursday, January 31st at 10 PM, which is really not AWAKE or AWAKE-like despite what some of the promos/key art might lead you to think.
So what’s the show about? According to the network, “Dr. Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale, “Rescue Me”) is a highly respected neurosurgeon who has it all – a lucrative career, confident charm, the gift of compassion. But he also has a deep, dark secret. One morning when he wakes up disoriented in a wrecked hotel room amidst several near-naked women he’s never seen before, he knows one thing: it’s happening again.”
