Rumple and Belle may be together on ONCE UPON A TIME, but so far in season 2, much of the focus hasn’t been on them. But with tonight’s brand new episode, things are about to change.
“This is a big episode for Belle and for Rumple,” Emilie de Ravin (Belle) teased to reporters on the Vancouver set late last year. “Something is going to happen that’s really…it’s big. It’s shocking. It’s actually really cool, it’s a really great episode, and there’s a lot of things that will surprise people.”
And yes, that means you should be expecting some sweet couple-y moments for the duo dubbed “Rumbelle.”

CBS at TCA: Nina Tassler ‘Very Confident’ About a HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Renewal

Late in December, news broke that the cast of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER had signed on for a potential ninth season. At the time, CBS was unable to confirm the news (and whether that meant the show had officially been renewed for the next season), but during CBS President of Entertainment Nina Tassler’s winter press session earlier today, she indicated there should be a resolution soon.
“Well, I will be very happy to report in a very few days, I believe, that things will be resolved,” Tassler said during her executive session. “We’re very confident and excited that things will all work out, and almost everything is completed. Almost everything.”
Are you excited that the path seems (almost) clear for a season 9 of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER? Or were you hoping they’d be ending the show soon?

The CW Plans Potential THE VAMPIRE DIARIES Spinoff; Backdoor Pilot to Air in Spring

The CW is looking to expand THE VAMPIRE DIARIES world — a rep for the network confirms that a backdoor pilot is in the works for a TVD spinoff, THE ORIGINALS, which would focus on Joseph Morgan’s Klaus.
According to Deadline, TVD newbie Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley) would also be a part of the spinoff, which would be about Klaus’ return to “the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans — a town he helped build centuries ago — and is reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel.”
While spinoffs traditionally make me very wary, I’m curious to see how this backdoor pilot will turn out. As of now, it’s set to air on April 25th on The CW.
What do you think? Would you watch a Klaus-centric show? Or do you hope he stays put on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES?

After weeks of rumors, Britney Spears has released a statement confirming she’s leaving THE X FACTOR:
“I’ve made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it’s time for me to get back in the studio. Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can’t wait to get back out there and do what I love most.”
Are you disappointed Spears won’t be returning to THE X FACTOR? Or are you excited to see who the show brings on next?

SCANDAL is back tonight! And for Olivia Pope and the rest of the gang, they’re still reeling for Huck’s (wrongful) arrest for the attempted assassination of Fitz.
Huck’s capture would be terrifying no matter what, but as Darby Stanchfield (Abby) pointed out to me during a recent interview, the fact that he’s being held under the Patriot Act means that all bets are off.
