FRINGE was honored at Paley Center Wednesday night, and in addition to the panel (which featured showrunner J.H. Wyman and series star Lance Reddick), there was also an exhibit of six different posters honoring the series.

Take a look at the art work, plus photos of Wyman and Reddick on the carpet (plus check back soon for my interviews with them)…

BONES: Hart Hanson Offers a Cryptic Hodgins Tease

January 9, 2013 by

With a whole bunch of BONES coming your way in the next couple of weeks — the show returns with back-to-back episodes on Monday, January 14th — when I spoke with BONES creator Hart Hanson at the Fox winter press tour party, I wanted to know what he could tease about what’s to come for our Jeffersonian — and FBI — crimefighters. And, well, what he offered up is certainly something different.

Comments Off on SUBURGATORY Preview: An Altman Versus Royce Dance-Off

Need a dose of funny in your life this Wednesday? SUBURGATORY is back tonight at tonight’s episode is funny. Aside from the dance-off (which we’ll get into in a minute), the Shays go to drastic levels to get Ryan back, and the Werners panic when their baby doesn’t get into a prestigious pre-school.

But back to that dance-off. Tessa and Dalia get a little competitive about their PSAT scores, so Dalia challenges Tessa to a dance off. It does not go well, and their feuding spreads…

Comments Off on RAISING HOPE Pays Homage to MODERN FAMILY For a Special Wedding Episode

When RAISING HOPE creator Greg Garcia first teased that Sabrina and Jimmy’s wedding would be coming sooner versus later, he also hinted he had a very specific idea of how he wanted things to go down.

“We do have an idea for a wedding episode we’re working on now that could be a lot of fun, both in the stuff that happens in the wedding and the style in which we shoot it,” Garcia said at the time. “We have a bit of a gimmick we might do that makes me laugh, so look out for that.”

And now, we have a few more details about what’s going on.

FRINGE: Watch a (Spoilery) Peter-Walter Scene from ‘The Boy Must Live’

January 8, 2013 by

I’m torn about the following FRINGE clip being released. On one hand, it’s my absolute favorite scene of the entire antepenultimate episode (and I vaguely mentioned that in my tease post), but it’s also, in my opinion, pretty freaking spoilery. But since Fox released it, clearly they’re OK with it being out there.

So, I’m going to leave it up to you.

I won’t ruin what is said between Peter and Walter in writing.  I won’t blame you if you want to wait the next few days until you can see the episode as a whole. But if you do want a tease, here you go…

PERSON OF INTEREST: Sarah Shahi to Recur

January 8, 2013 by

Former FAIRLY LEGAL star Sarah Shahi is coming to PERSON OF INTEREST.

Sources confirm that Shahi will recur this season, and according to Deadline (who was first to break the news), she’ll be playing Shaw, a “fearless, sexy and witty operative in a secret paramilitary organization that tracks and eliminates terrorists before they can act.” (Which seems to be a nice parallel to what Finch and Reese do…)

Shahi is set to first appear in the February 21st episode.

Are you excited to see what she’ll be up to?

Is Fox’s Kevin Reilly Looking at Season 9 of BONES as the End?

January 8, 2013 by

With BONES getting an early renewal for an upcoming ninth season — and with it being the only solid drama they currently have on their schedule — it’s no surprise the question of how much longer the series can continue on was brought up to Fox boss Kevin Reilly after his winter press tour panel.

When a reporter asked him if the network was looking at the upcoming season as the final year, Reilly’s response was quick. “Not right now,” he said. “We’re going to take that one and see where it goes.”

And yes, he seems to be optimistic Booth, Brennan and the rest of the gang could continue on: “I think it could keep going.”

Hey, if they reach season 10, they would reach that 200th episode milestone…

Do you hope BONES hangs around past season 9?

BONES Renewed For Season 9

January 8, 2013 by
Filed under #1 featured, Bones, TV News

Good news for BONES fans: Fox has renewed the drama for a ninth season.

“After more than 150 episodes, BONES continues to be one of television’s most dynamic and consistent dramas,” said Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company in a statement. “We at FOX, along with millions of zealous fans, look forward to seeing where the incredible creative team takes the series next season.”

BONES star David Boreanaz (Booth) first stirred up speculation about the show’s future when he tweeted last month, “Very excited to be a part of the FOX Family for the next season…#Bones.” (Fox had previously licensed the show for two years, but they had the option whether they wanted to renew it for this upcoming ninth season.)

BONES returns with (back-to-back) new episodes January 14, 2013.
