A lot of television tonight, including two shows kicking of two-parters (CASTLE and THE FOLLOWING).
Take a look at all of your options…
Bones | 8pm on Fox
“The Friend in Need”
The Jeffersonian team investigates the remains of a 15-year-old boy. Although his mother and few close friends saw him as intelligent with poor social skills, the team discovers that this seemingly innocent boy was actually involved in illegal activity and had attended a high school party two weeks prior where drugs were present. The investigation takes an ugly turn when an underage girl confesses to being raped and the deceased boy’s reputation is compromised. Meanwhile, with the case’s spotlight on deception, intern Finn Abernathy (guest star Luke Kleintank) contemplates telling Cam (Tamara Taylor) that her daughter Michelle (guest star Tiffany Hines) is in town visiting for the weekend. [Check out some photos from the hour!]
How I Met Your Mother | 8pm on CBS
“The Ashtray”
When Ted receives an unexpected call from The Captain, the gang reminisced about their last awkward encounter with him.
The Carrie Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“Endgame”
Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) gets in way over her head when she tries to cook the perfect Thanksgiving dinner for her family, her new boyfriend George (guest star Richard Kohnke) and his dad Harlan (guest star Scott Cohen), so she enlists Mouse’s (Ellen Wong) help. Tom (Matt Letscher) is oblivious to the chaos going on in the kitchen, while Dorrit (Stefania Owen) finds a new way to torture Carrie. Maggie (Katie Findlay) is excited to have Thanksgiving with Walt’s (Brendan Dooling) family, but when the topic of college comes up she realizes that she hasn’t put much thought into her future. Elsewhere, Sebastian (Austin Butler) learns that his mother decided to fly out of town with her boyfriend, leaving him to fend for himself on Thanksgiving.
The Bachelor | 8pm on ABC
“Episode 1708”
Back in the U.S. after a whirlwind trip from Los Angeles to Montana to Canada to St. Croix, the stakes are high as Sean crisscrosses the country on an exciting, emotionally charged journey to visit the final four women’s hometowns. AshLee and Sean enjoy an emotional afternoon with her family in Houston. The Bachelor isn’t received with open arms by all of Catherine’s family in Seattle. Lindsay’s intimidating father meets Sean on his turf – Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where he is a two-star general. And when Sean hits Los Angeles, he is blindsided by Desiree’s ex-boyfriend. The rollercoaster ride ends when he must make a gut-wrenching decision to narrow the field to three women – one of whom he believes will be his wife.
The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“Be Yourself”
The players learn they’ll have the chance to win immunity for all this week if they lost a collective 70 pounds. They have a chance to shave 10 pounds off their total with the help of returning kid participants Biingo, Lindsay and Sunny, whose brains and brawn are tested in a pop challenge. With emotions and tensions at an all-time high, this week’s theme of “working together” might be a tougher challenge than losing the amount of weight that will keep them all safe for another week. Two contestants clash, as do Jillian and one of the players that she feels is not performing at the level she should be. But all the contestants will have to work together in an exhaustive sand-digging challenge that could give them another weigh-in advantage. And the trainers and players participate together in an intense team-building challenge, forcing them all to rely on and trust one another. Also this week, Subway’s Jared stops by for lunch and a pep talk, and Jillian and the kids sign Seventeen’s “Body Peace Treaty,” encouraging self-esteem and body acceptance, before a tension-filled weigh-in reveals whether they’ll all be safe – or have to send another player home.
Rules of Engagement | 8:30pm on CBS
“Cats & Dogs”
When Liz decides to have a baby, she turns to Russell as the last resort. Meanwhile, Jeff’s advice to Timmy to act like an alpha dog to attract a co-worker back fires.
So much more. Keep reading…

CASTLE’s annual two-part arc kicks off on Monday, and instead of things being deadly on a grand scale, the stakes are much more personal for Castle — his daughter, Alexis, has been kidnapped.
I spoke with CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe about taking this step (and why they could only do it once), how everyone else will be reacting to the close-to-home case, the future of 3XK on the show, whether Beckett might say “I love you soon,” and more…

Ben and Leslie may have made a very important decision about their upcoming wedding on PARKS AND RECREATION (and we did see a sneak peek of the festivities in the promo for “Correspondents’ Lunch”), but the photos for next week’s episode, so far, are sadly lacking any of the romantic moments that will be sure to make up the hour.
The good news? At least Leslie Knope is adorable…
