The Cast of SUBURGATORY Previews Valentine’s Day in Chatswin
February 13, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
On tonight’s brand new episode of SUBURGATORY, Dallas and George’s first Valentine’s Day together goes awry when her attempt to freshen up for the big day goes off the rails.
“She’s…a little insecure because George is a little younger, so she gets some facial work that goes bad,” Jeremy Sisto (George) told reporters earlier this week. “So she disappears and ditches me on Valentine’s Day. So I get drunk at the restaurant.”
And while the botched procedure renders Cheryl Hines (Dallas) virtually unrecognizable, the show chose to have her wear prostheses, versus changing her face in post-production.

THE ORIGINALS is adding, well, another original sibling to the mix: a rep for Warner Bros. confirms the reports that Claire Holt (Rebekah) will be joining the backdoor pilot for THE VAMPIRE DIARIES spinoff.
Holt joins her on-screen brothers Joseph Morgan (Klaus) and Daniel Gillies (Elijah) as “original” family members on the new potential series. Also booked is THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’ Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), as well as TVD newbies Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), Daniella Pineda (Sophie), Danielle Campbell (Davina), and Leah Pipes (Camille).
If THE ORIGINALS goes to series, it’s going to be very curious to see what next season of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES looks like…

He’s back!
NBC confirms that LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT will welcome back Dean Winters’ Brian Cassidy — who appeared in the first half of the show’s first season all the way back in 1999 before coming back for an arc in the season 13 finale/season 14 premiere — for an episode that is set to air sometime in March. (I’m hearing the tentative title is “Undercover Blue.”)
So what brings Winters back to the show this time around?

Fox will be expanding their primetime lineup on Thursday, March 7th as AMERICAN IDOL will air a special 90-minute installment. And that’s not the only special thing going on that night: GLEE will air its 500th musical performance.
For AMERICAN IDOL, those extra 30 minutes are needed as America will find out who the top 12 finalists are in a live results show.
Over on GLEE’s “Girls (And Boys) on Film” episode, Fox says “the glee club’s latest assignment is to choose a song from a movie and the members of New Directions sing the hit series’ landmark 500th musical performance with their rendition of the “Animal House” anthem “Shout.” Meanwhile in New York, Santana (Naya Rivera) makes herself at home in the loft a little too quickly for Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) comfort.” That episode is set to start at 9:30 PM.
Are you excited about things running a little bit long for Fox’s Thursday lineup for one night?

FX Orders THE BRIDGE

Comments Off on FX Orders THE BRIDGE
FX is adding to its lineup: the network has just ordered 13 episodes of the new drama series, THE BRIDGE, it was announced in a press release.
“For years networks have been trying to develop a drama series set on the U.S.-Mexican border without any success,” said Landgraf. ”I’m thrilled to say that Meredith Stiehm and Elwood Reid have become the first to crack that creative code and they have done so magnificently,” said John Landgraf, President and General Manager, FX Networks, in a statement. “There have been great films set in that world – No Country for Old Men and Lone Star come to mind – but never a great TV series. This one is special. The setting, the writing, the direction, and the way it is brought to life by Demián Bichir, Diane Kruger and the rest of the cast makes for truly riveting drama.”
So what’s THE BRIDGE about?

The good news is that if you felt we were a little too dark in the past (we sure talked about a lot of serial killers, huh?), these moments are considerably lighter!
